KATRINA'S P O V
As soon as I heard the sound of a car screeching on the road, I hurried over to the window, and I saw Tina climb out from her car, and she stood there for a few minutes, staring at Cohen's car in front of her, before she fled into the house with clenched fists.
Tina walking into my bedroom, slamming the door open wasn't anything that took me by surprise.
I didn't pay attention to her as I watched another car, a cab actually, stop and a blonde woman got out of it. She made her way over to Cohen's car, her face worried as she peeked into the window. She opened the door to the driver’s seat, and seconds later, she started to drive away from the house.
I pulled back the curtain and turned around to see Tina standing at the doorway of my room with her arms crossed on her chest as she scrutinized me with narrowed eyes.
‘‘What is Cohen’s car doing out there?’’ she asked, watching me as I plopped my body down on the bed, turning my back on her.
