TRAVIS’ P O V
I rushed out of the house, and a smile formed on my lips as I thought of Katrina’s embarrassed expression as she looked up at me and told me that she had her period. For someone who was already married, and even gave birth, she looked so innocent and naïve. And I liked her even more for it.
I swiftly slid into my car and drove to the nearest convenience store, where I purchased everything that I was aware a woman needed while they were experiencing their period. Sanitary pads, tampons, panty-liners, disposable underwear, as well as pain relievers. I also added dark chocolate because I heard that eating it can help alleviate muscle cramps.
I never did this to any woman, or even to my late wife, Claire. We were not that close though. And despite the fact that we were sharing the same bed, and were living on the same roof, I never once saw her stained with blood.
