TRAVIS’ P O V
After I shared everything with Kyle, he assured me that he would discuss this matter with Kavanaugh and put an end to it once and for all. However, he did not give me any assurances that he could convince the devoted man, but he did say that he would try. At least he’s going to try and help me.
I couldn’t help but feel anxious as I waited for Kyle and Kavanaugh to finish their discussion, while I was in the chief of police's office. Jack was in the interrogation room, asking Katrina about what really happened, so that he would know what to tell Kavanaugh once he decided to ask him answers.
I warned my personal lawyer to treat Katrina with care and sensitivity in dealing with her. She was already in such a vulnerable state, and the last thing I wanted to do was cause her any additional suffering.
I was hoping that everything would turn out well. I have trust in Kyle despite the fact that this was the very first time that I really had a serious conversation with him.
