Chapter 133 MY LIFE

KATRINA’S P O V

''Nurse, could I have a blanket, please?'' I heard Tina say to the woman dressed in white, walking in front of us. I knew she could feel the exhalation of my breaths on her skin. For the reason that I wanted someone to cry on, I contacted her earlier, and I was relieved to find that she was always there for me.

Tina was the first person I called after I encountered Travis' parents. Within the span of fifteen minutes, she was here at the hospital.

A thick, warm blanket was draped around my shoulders. I looked down, and I noticed my shoes were stained with blood. Travis’ blood.

''Here, drink this…'' Tina handed me a mug of hot chocolate. ''This will help you calm down…''

I took a sip, but I have no idea why I felt so cold. I felt as if my insides were filled with ice. I’ll never be warm again. My teeth couldn’t stop chattering.
