RAPHAEL’S P O V
I flashed Miss Aria a warning glare when she opened her mouth to greet me, and her eyes widened when she realized that Naya had no idea that I was the CEO of Villin Group. ‘‘Thank you for dropping my wife home, Miss…’’
‘‘A-Aria…’’ she cleared her throat, and smiled awkwardly. ‘‘My name is Aria.’’
‘‘Thank you, Miss Aria…’’ I nodded at her, indicating for her to leave, and just as I was about to turn around while guiding Naya, but she opened her eyes and looked up at her supervisor.
‘‘Bye, Miss Aria…’’ Naya giggled, waving a hand in her direction. ‘‘See you tomorrow…’’
I dismissed Miss Aria with a wave, my face frowning, and before my drunk wife could say something more, I lifted her in my arms, which made her yelp and then laughed aloud as she wrapped her arms around my neck. I carried her bridal style, and strolled my way back inside the house.
I looked over my shoulder, and Miss Aria was still standing there, her mouth gaping in disbelief.
