QinZhi: Is this still something humans can do?

Less than half an hour after leaving Bi Yun's room on the ship, Mo Shen jumped into the sea.

She didn't get noticed at all and moved in a certain direction until she saw six ships with black flags hanging on top.

"This is the place!" She sneakily moved along the ships, before climbing along a certain rope hanging from the top, obviously not a coincidence.

 *****

Back to Li Xin and QinZhi.

The movement of their carriage was not slow, and the journey seemed long, but the direction the carriage was taking didn't seem to be towards the sea. It was also the time that QinZhi asked where they were going.

"Young master! Where are we going?" QinZhi asked as she discovered the Carriage was moving away from the set destination, but with how calm Li Xin was, it was not a coincidence. Since that was the case, she could only ask about it.

But when Li Xin heard her question, he had an odd expression on his face. "Didn't I tell you to stop calling me a young master? I am an old man now in my thirties! Don't make me lose face alright!"

"For this trip, we are just going to let nature take its course! As for seeing an old friend, it seems that he is more anxious than me on meeting!" He spoke with a mischievous smile, as for the issue of being called young master, he knew this woman couldn't change. He was closer to thirty, but he preferred to refer to himself as being thirty, but even this reasoning was not enough to make QinZhi stop using the title young master.

Since he had insisted on this every time, she seemed to have developed some annoyance evidenced by the look on her face, every time this issue was mentioned. She also had wanted to lead the carriage towards the direction the cliff was sliced off, but now things were not going based on her will. On the other hand, Li Xin dared to say let nature take its course. He of all people was not someone who let nature take its course on a lot of issues, she could tell he was pretending, only to crush her plans.

But on second thought, she couldn't defeat him, so she could only let the carriage move and be covered by the fog. She was just unwilling to miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

How could Li Xin not be aware of what this woman was thinking? But he didn't have time to go see some insight-level expert fighting. In his eyes, it was like watching children fighting, as such he had no interest. On this trip, he didn't have any problem with her gaining some benefits, such that she could jump into the insight stage.

It seemed that the individuals were fighting with swords, a man was alone with black robes. The others seemed to be attacking him from all directions, and as they moved, more injuries seemed to be inflicted on the man.

When Li Xin was sorting out his thoughts, suddenly the ground shook, even though it was subtle, it could not escape his or QinZhi's perception.

QinZhicould not pinpoint the exact source, but Li Xin in the carriage was and his sense of danger, was rising off the chats.

He opened his eyes, and one could see pure darkness upon setting their eyes on them at the moment, with some deserted stars shining in them.

Standing up, he looked east, that is the direction that leads to the depths of the forest. He was not planning to head there, not to mention he has also always been unwilling to go to such places, but at this moment he was feeling the sense of danger should be in that direction.

"It seems that something interesting is happening in that direction. QinZhi, you stay here." As he spoke, he appeared before the saber being hung on the wooden wall, picking it up, before holding it properly in his left arm.

With a 'swish,' he disappeared in place and only a shadow could be seen, shuttling on top of trees from high up in the clouds.

QinZhi on the other hand did not even think twice and followed along, with a short sword strapped to her side. Even though her speed did not catch up, it was fast and difficult for others to notice.

Lin Xin who was at the front already discovered that this woman didn't listen to his words at all, and still followed him.

He could only sigh in the end, but his figure didn't pause at all. He knew saying it would not change anything but still warned her anyway, it was indeed a waste of effort.

In less than five minutes he was already several miles away from the carriage but closer to the source of danger.

More importantly, he could hear the sound of beasts in the forest, from roars to chirping. It was not beast tide or anything but the strong creatures in the forest seemed to have formed a confrontation pattern. He could feel it when he approached and the voice in his head seemed to be telling him to just retreat but how could he do that?

Beasts especially on this level would not go all out like this unless something good was present. In the way, he was not planning on missing out, after all, internal energy was not only about the technique practice level, but also accumulation.

But some treasures could allow one to accumulate even faster, and he felt he could find the chance to break through on this trip, as such he did not mind increasing the quality. Or perhaps he would use some unique treasures when he made a breakthrough to the 8th stage.

Standing at the very top of a massive bamboo tree, he could see an area that had been crushed due to the confrontation of three massive creatures. They indeed were not normal as their size alone is about three times the normal creatures.

A tiger, a massive bird, and a green snake. But the moment he set his eyes on them he sighed, "Indeed, strange alien beasts exist in this world. Moreover, they seem to have stronger physical strength. If my technique was only normal level 7, it would be impossible to do anything to them. But since I have honed my skills and practiced to the limit of level 7, there is a chance."

He was indeed feeling this was a risk, but the moment he set his eyes on the short tree some distance from the creatures, he was not leaving, let alone without the fruit hanging on the tree. It seemed to be the thing that resulted in this confrontation making all three beasts injured.

"That fruit does not seem to be that important to allow the creatures to fight in this fashion, The assistance it has on them is minimal, at most it can offer some slight benefits. Considering how the beasts are fighting without even consideration of the fruit." As he was overlooking the situation he seemed to realize this, and in the same instant seemed to know that the fruit that did not catch the eye of this creature would also have less impact on him.

Even though monsters are always strengthening their body and blood, he is also still in the same state. Any treasure that could improve his current physique is still a good thing. Let's not mention the effect of allowing his meridians to enlarge even further, the blood energy in the body can be enhanced increasing his vitality to a large extent.

Martial arts practitioners benefit a lot from such treasures and in most cases when the body is strengthened with some treasures, the hidden wounds slowly be mended.

He did not seem to be in a rush and continued to observe these creatures as he could feel that something was not right.

His line of sight then shifted and he could now see it was not the fruit that they were avoiding indeed, rather something seemed to be hidden on the same side as the plant with the fruit.

The moment he confirmed his target he already had a plan in mind, and he did not think about fighting to win. The three creatures are not something he can defeat with his current level, at least he was able to retreat, but fighting them to death would be stupid. The reason for this kind of thinking is simple, physique.

The monsters can withstand his attacks and the more he fought against them the more exhausted he would be in the end. But wanting to exhaust them would be a joke, the three are not to be looked down upon even in their current state. More importantly, beasts are not like humans, once he offends them then they would not mind going all out.

Each probably has means he did not know about and the moment they become desperate, he would be the one that pays a price.

When he thought of things rationally, he did not seem to have any plans to change his tactics, he was going for the treasures before the confrontation and in the worst-case scenario escaped using his superb movement skills.

He was looking for some chance and this was the one, perhaps in this kind of situation he could indeed stimulate some potential allowing him to gain some kind of peep into the next stage, reducing the difficulty of his task in the sea.

When he was having this crazy thought, QinZhi was already heading in the direction he was. But he also moved, ready to collect the treasures.

"Thinking about it something is not right! Who controls this behind the scenes?" His face grew more solemn.

He felt very uneasy deep down and this feeling didn't lessen in the slghest.
