Chapter:2

She was tapped by her mother to wake up,she used her hand to rub her face and sat upright, her mother started singing Happy birthday to her,Ireoluwa was genuinely happy although no friends to celebrate with her but her mother is enough for her. She rose up to her feet and thanked her mom for wishing her happy 16th birthday, her mother raised up her hand and there was a piece of cloth in her hand, she blindfolded her with that piece of cloth and walked her to the parlour, she removed her blindfold. Ireoluwa was flabbergasted to the extent that she didn't know when she opened her mouth to say;'wow.This is beautiful, she jumped on her mother and thanked her alot for making her 16th birthday a memorable one for her, the house was beautiful decorated with shiny globes,the table is filled with cakes,chocolate, minerals and many other eatable things.

She rushed to her room to take her bath and she search through her wardrobe to look for what to wear,after much thought on each cloth she settle for short pink gown and white head band with white shoe.she went back to the parlour and she was served breakfast by her mother, they both eat to their satisfaction, they danced took alot of pictures.

In the evening they clean up the house, wash the dishes,and when they were done with the house chores, they sat outside their compound,Ireoluwa I know something is bothering you, am your mother feel free to tell me anything, I will always be there for you when you are ready to share your problem.

Mummy am I not beautiful, am I disfigured by my tribal mark, my daughter you are beautiful in your own way, you are better than some people, you are not crippled, you are not an imbecile,some people tribal mark are much more bigger than yours.Do not allow anyone look down on you,stand up for yourself do not let what people say get to you.

your friends don't like you, they don't invite you to partys,they are not your friends, they don't consider you as their friend, then don't consider them as your friends.you are beautiful in my own eye and to some other people you are beautiful.not everyone dislike your tribal mark,only those idiots you consider as friends dislike it.Thank you mummy I can never trade you for anything.
