Hippolyta ultimately chose to leave Themyscira.
Plans never keep up with changes. If the previous signs weren't obvious enough, then the fact that the Mother Box had been taken by the enemy was undeniable proof—war had already begun.
There was no time to waste. Hippolyta knew exactly how powerful the Mother Box was, and she understood all too well that if the enemy managed to obtain all three, the destruction awaiting Earth would be unimaginable.
By then, the world would be plunged into ruin, leaving no chance for survival.
For this reason, she had to spread the word. She needed to inform the ancient allies of Themyscira's fate. If not, the entire world would be doomed.

Wayne Manor, Gotham City.
Old Bruce Wayne sat calmly, gazing at Hippolyta, who was seated across from him. He sighed lightly.
"So, you came to find me because you want the heroes of the Justice Society to protect the Mother Box, is that right?"
"Yes. This crisis threatens everyone. The enemy's blade is already at our throats. We can't afford to do nothing—we must prepare in advance."
Hippolyta looked at the aged man before her, feeling a mix of emotions. Originally, she had planned to seek out Shazam for help. But upon arriving in the human world, she was surprised to learn that Shazam had joined an organization called the Justice Society.
At first, she hadn't thought much of the group. But after conducting her own investigations, she was shocked to discover that it was full of formidable individuals.
Not only did they have an emissary of Nabu, but there was also an ancient Egyptian prince. Even the human warriors were extraordinary, each possessing commendable skills. That one who could run at incredible speed—even he made her feel a sense of threat.
Seeing the strength of the human world's warriors, Hippolyta felt somewhat relieved. With their help, as long as everyone united like in the ancient days, it might just be possible to drive the invaders back.
So after some hesitation, she chose not to approach the heroes of the Justice Society directly. Instead, she sought out the one pulling the strings behind them—the man constantly teetering between retirement and returning to battle: Batman, the old Bruce Wayne.
For most people, finding a figure as elusive as Batman would be nearly impossible. But Hippolyta was no ordinary person.
After hearing that Batman's activities were primarily centered in Gotham, she immediately traveled there. Tracking Robin through the night, she followed him all the way to the Batcave. It didn't take her long to uncover Batman's true identity.
"Listen, Mr. Wayne, I know what I'm saying may sound like a fantasy, and you might not believe me, but I—"
"I believe you."
Before Hippolyta could finish, Bruce Wayne calmly interrupted her.
"You… you believe me?" Hippolyta was briefly stunned. She held some prejudices about humanity—namely, that they were a species prone to infighting and ignorance.
She had prepared a lengthy argument to convince Batman, but she hadn't expected the old man before her to believe her so easily.
Bruce Wayne studied Hippolyta for a moment, then picked up the teapot and poured himself a cup of coffee. He used to prefer wine, but as he aged, he had come to enjoy coffee instead.
"Honestly, I'm not surprised that you've come here. To be frank, I've spent the past two years searching for Themyscira's whereabouts. Unfortunately, with my current resources, I've only been able to approximate its general location."
"You know about me?" Hippolyta's gaze sharpened.
The existence of the Amazons was meant to be a well-kept secret. When the Old Gods withdrew from the world, most records of the Amazons had been buried in history, save for a few myths and statues.
Only a handful of beings who had lived since ancient times still knew of their existence—certainly not someone who would actively seek them out.
"Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons in ancient Greek mythology. During the era when the Olympian gods walked the Earth, you were quite active. Later, you withdrew from the world alongside the gods. In truth, I've been waiting for you to reach out to me." Bruce Wayne's voice was calm.
"No wonder you weren't surprised when I showed up unannounced," Hippolyta murmured, frowning slightly.
"Tim still has a lot of room for improvement, but in terms of stealth, tracking, and counter-surveillance, he's quite skilled. Besides, we noticed you the moment you entered Gotham."
Bruce's voice wasn't loud, but to Hippolyta, it carried an immense sense of pressure.
She knew the old man before her was merely human, someone she could easily kill with a single punch. Yet for some reason, she couldn't help but view him as an equal.
"Where did you learn about Themyscira? And how much do you know about the ancient past?" Hippolyta asked, narrowing her eyes.
Bruce Wayne smiled slightly. He reached into his pocket, briefly touching his phone, and said, "I have my sources. As for the Old Gods… I don't know where they went, but it's hard to believe Ares managed to kill them all."
"So you do know!" Hippolyta stood up, staring at the old man before her, momentarily at a loss for words.
"Calm down, Your Majesty. Just as you cannot trust me, I cannot simply trust a stranger—especially one who wields great power—without first understanding the Amazons."
Old Bruce Wayne interlocked his fingers, his scrutinizing gaze fixed on the Amazon Queen seated across from him.
"In my time, there weren't so many supernatural beings lurking around. But things have changed. Ever since General Zod ignited a war, more and more extraordinary individuals have been emerging. I have to keep records, don't I?"
"The Amazons are not your enemies," Hippolyta said firmly.
"Your Majesty, it's best not to make guarantees about uncertain things. Besides, even if the Amazons aren't our enemies, there are other factions in this world. You should know—anyone who has survived since ancient times is never simple."
"You mean the Atlanteans?"
Hippolyta quickly understood what Bruce Wayne was implying. While various ancient factions had once stood on a unified front, allied in cooperation, a millennium was more than enough time for things to change.
The conflict between the Amazons and Atlantis, the withdrawal of the Old Gods—all these events had unfolded over the past thousand years. So when Bruce Wayne brought it up, Hippolyta immediately grasped his meaning.
"That's just a possibility. After all, this is the first time we're meeting, and I don't know much about your two peoples. But I believe we have enough time to understand each other better," Bruce Wayne said, his words carrying a deeper implication.
"I'm afraid time is not a luxury we have, The enemy has already started the war. I came to warn you—war has begun, and we must be prepared."
Hippolyta paused for a moment before locking eyes with Bruce Wayne and continuing.
"Do you… know about the Mother Boxes?"
"Mother Boxes…"
Old Bruce Wayne raised an eyebrow and let out a long sigh.
He still remembered five years ago, when he first met another Barry Allen from a parallel universe, as well as his first encounter with Alex and Pietro. During their meeting, they had exchanged some intelligence.
The Mother Boxes were a crucial part of that intelligence. Both Barry Allen and Alex seemed to regard them with great importance, almost as if they were some kind of strategic weapon.
Later, Bruce Wayne had conducted his own investigation, but he found no trace of the so-called "Mother Boxes."
Besides, Barry Allen and Alex had both stated that this universe likely did not contain any Mother Boxes. Over time, Bruce had pushed the matter to the back of his mind—he had plenty of other work to do.
But now, hearing Hippolyta mention them again, those buried memories resurfaced.
Seeing that Bruce Wayne seemed unfamiliar with the Mother Boxes, Hippolyta hesitated for a moment before slowly explaining.
"The invaders gave them that name. The Mother Boxes are three artifacts infused with the most advanced technology—so advanced that they can accomplish things only magic should be able to do. They are also known as the 'Unity.'
Legend has it that if the three Mother Boxes are brought together, they will unleash an immense power—one capable of altering a planet's atmosphere and environment, reshaping the world according to the wielder's will."
"In ancient times, invaders from beyond the stars waged war across the Earth. They called themselves the New Gods and sought to claim the planet for their dark empire.
But the heroes of that age stood against them. Every faction on Earth put aside their differences and united—gods, mortals, and even allies from the stars. Together, they drove the enemy back."
"And what happened after that?" Bruce Wayne asked.
"Afterward, the Mother Boxes became war trophies and were kept on Earth. They were divided into three parts—one protected by the Amazons, one by humanity, and one by the Atlanteans. For millennia, the Mother Boxes remained dormant, showing no signs of activity."
"Let me guess—Paradise Island's Mother Box has already been taken by the enemy," Bruce Wayne said, his expression growing more serious as he furrowed his brows.
Hippolyta nodded heavily.
"Your guess is correct. I came not only to warn you but also to seek out humanity and the Atlanteans. Paradise Island has fallen. No matter what, we cannot allow the remaining two Mother Boxes to fall into enemy hands."
