The people watching finally knew that Ming Ze was very strong.
That he looked weak showed that he had unfathomable strength.
After sending the man flying, Ming Ze continued his steps into the city, happy that no one recognized his face.
He thought that the hoax wouldn't spread since its creator was suddenly chastised. People would forget what he said, only remembering the fact that he had been chastised.
However, his expression soured again when he arrived at the bridge leading to the city.
He suddenly heard someone talking again about the same thing.
The hoax being spread was exactly the same.
At this point, he finally realized that there might be a conspiracy.
He quickened his pace, ignoring the person who made the second hoax.
When he arrived near the city gate, he heard someone say the same hoax again.
'Don't tell me there are people saying this all over the West Gate Region?' He wondered.
If it was like this, someone would want to fight him.
Without being able to find out who it was, he could only ignore this for the time being.
He then stepped through the city gates, instantly amazed by the scene in front of him where he saw a long road leading directly to the palace in the center of the city.
At first glance, the palace seemed to be close by, but he who had observed the city from the sky knew that it was very far away.
It was only because of the city's structure that it gave the illusion that the palace was in sight.
Ming Ze saw many shops lined up along the streets, selling various types of goods.
Since this was a cultivation city, the majority of the items sold were related to cultivation, whether it was weapons or resources.
He also saw several large buildings that turned out to be auction houses.
His steps hadn't stopped since entering the gate even though he heard more people talking bad about him.
He only planned to buy information on who ordered people to spread this hoax. After finding out, he would think of a way to retaliate.
'Such a powerful sword aura,' he thought spontaneously when he saw a woman wearing a black kimono dress and having her white hair neatly put in a bun.
She was together with a young girl who appeared to be only 13 years old.
Her wrists and neck had several red word tattoos while her hand held her sword sheath firmly.
Ming Ze only saw her from behind but he still felt a very strong threat from her.
He couldn't say she was stronger than Xia Qinghe. It was hard to say whose cultivation was deeper.
However, a sword user reaching that depth tended to be very dangerous compared to other cultivators.
She and the young girl entered a very large auction house, having the name of Seven Dimensional Auction House.
From the looks of it, it was much more prestigious than the rest.
Unfortunately, Ming Ze didn't know the names of famous auction houses because he hadn't read any information about them.
Since he was also interested in that auction house, so he entered there.
Only the entrance itself was huge, able to be entered by ten people simultaneously in the same row.
It was shaped like a hallway with reception desks on both sides.
Ming Ze wasn't quite sure what the function of the receptionists behind those two desks was.
Everyone seemed to be able to enter directly without having to take care of anything.
Since that was the case, he continued walking without approaching any of the receptionists.
At the end of the entrance, there was a large red curtain. He needed to pass through it first to actually enter the auction house.
Once he passed through the curtain, he was somewhat surprised as he appeared right beside the woman with the sword.
She was evidently still standing behind that curtain, having yet to wander into the auction house whose interior was enough to amaze Ming Ze.
He saw various treasures. The large ones were left standing on the floor, surrounded by a barrier formation while the small ones were in a glass box.
Everyone could bid by saying the new price in front of the treasure they wanted to bid on.
Each auctioned item basically had a time limit before it ended, the more valuable the item, the longer the auction time.
Some items cannot even be bought with spiritual stones, which is the main currency in this world.
They are sold on a barter system with items that are considered equivalent. If you are interested in them, you can offer your items to the servants.
Next depends on whether the elder of this auction house accept or not.
Here, the elder's position is similar to that of a manager, who takes care of everything and makes decisions on every transaction offered.
There is even an auditorium room, which seems to be used for live auctions. However, it's definitely not something that's held every day.
Due to being beside the woman carrying the sword, Ming Ze couldn't help but stare at her after he had observed the auction house for a while.
From the side, he was finally able to see her face which was surprisingly beautiful although her expression was a bit too cold.
Her pair of pink-colored lips with her pale white skin coupled with the sharp shape of her face was truly a pleasant sight to see.
Being stared at by him, she also stared at him.
She instantly knitted her eyebrows, either surprised because of what, either because of his handsome face or because her sharp instincts had told her that this man beside her was very powerful despite his seemingly ordinary aura. Perhaps she was surprised by both.
"Why are you looking at me?" she asked right after that.
Her voice was beautiful, but cold and sharp, making people who heard it intimidated.
Of course, that didn't apply to Ming Ze.
"Is that not allowed? I don't see some sort of writing that forbids looking at your face on your forehead," he replied.
This woman seemed to be very sensitive and easily offended, yet how could Ming Ze be afraid of her.
His words instantly startled the woman so that her mouth opened slightly while her breathing seemed to be about to quicken.
"Brat!" The girl beside her as if struck on the butt, instantly screamed and pointed at Ming Ze.
However, to Ming Ze's surprise, before the girl said anything, the woman with the sword suddenly grabbed her hand, pressing it slightly so that she was unable to speak.
Even she suddenly looked calm even though she initially seemed like she was about to explode with anger.
"I feel you are very special, who are you and where are you from?" she asked suddenly.
Her originally cold gaze turned into curiosity and curiosity.
