Paradise:Lost In Darkness

Eating out had been on the agenda for both Julie and Anna. They knew how busy Kate was, so they decided to make a visit at her work place. This was also an excuse on their part, to see Kate. 


Thankfully they'd arrived in time while the place wasn't so busy, with a few custormers left. It was also near closing time and they'd decided that they would wait for Kate, to be done. 


A smile had lifted on Kate's face when she saw them and once she was not busy, she joined the girls. 


Anna seemed to be in a good mood and was quite chatty. The two girls let her lead the conversation and be the one to do most of the talking. At some point, Anna took notice of how distracted both Julie and Kate were, which made her to stop talking. 


" You know, it wouldn't be a crime to say something too," she said, but neither replied. 


When she cleared her throat, this seemed to catch their attention. 


Anna gave her a look that said, ' really?'
