What do you want us to be

The morning light filtered gently through the thin curtains of our room, casting a soft, golden hue over the bed where Seraphina and I lay entwined. For a moment, I didn't move, savoring the warmth of her body against mine, the steady rhythm of her breathing, and the peaceful silence that enveloped us.

The memories of the previous night were still vivid in my mind, a mix of passion and tenderness that left my heart feeling full and yet fragile.

I slowly opened my eyes, taking in the sight of Seraphina's face, still peaceful in sleep. Her usually fierce expression was softened, her lips slightly parted, her hair tousled and spread out over the pillow.

There was a serenity in her that I rarely saw, and it made my chest tighten with emotion. How could someone so strong, so capable of commanding armies and wielding immense power, also be the source of such warmth and comfort? I marveled at the contrast, at the way she could be both my shield and my sanctuary.
