Chapter 115 The Surprise from the Man (2)

Regarding love, my previous impression was simply that when one reached a certain age, one would find a partner to go through life with. It was about conforming to social trends.

But now, after being reborn, I've met a man who, although silent and somewhat dull and boring, is responsible, upright, and considerate. Such a man, compared to others, is so outstanding that all his other deficiencies could be ignored.

I had read many military spouses say life is lonely, and being married is no different from being single—sometimes, it's even harder. That's because being single means living life alone, while marriage has you living the lives of two alone. The burden increases, but the rights and pleasures are few and far between.

Now, as a military spouse myself, I naturally experience loneliness, but I have no regrets. In fact, I'm grateful countless times that I could have met such a man.

There are gains and losses, pros and cons; it just depends on what you value more.
