"At your age, shouldn't you be in school?"
"I am," replied the little nun innocently, "I'm in the fourth grade of elementary school."

"Then why are you in this nunnery? School hasn't let out yet, has it?"
"It's summer vacation, sister," said the little nun with a smile.
Lin Ning was dumbfounded and quickly shot a pleading look at Yan Yu.
Yan Yu cursed under his breath for making a fuss over nothing and asked the little nun:
"Did your parents send you here to be fostered?"
"Yes," said the little nun. "Everyone in the village says that the master is very accomplished, so they sent us to learn from him and see if we could become Bodhisattvas."
