"That was no small favor," Zu Taichu said with a trembling voice, "She saved my life!"
"But you are now the Master of Miracles," Isefia raised her hand, pinching a tiny distance between her index finger and thumb, "That little kindness should have been repaid long ago. Do you really intend to trade all that you have now for such a trifle?"
"Heh."
Zu Taichu had thought the Queen might have some profound insights, only to realize she was just like everyone else: "Then you're mistaken about me. I, Zu Taichu, am willing to make the trade!"
"Clap, clap, clap, clap."
Isefia clapped her hands quickly: "Impressive, really impressive. I can't help but want to give you a little red flower."
"Are you insulting me?"
Zu Taichu had already realized the gap between himself and Isefia. If she wanted to kill him, it could probably be done in the blink of an eye.
But he was not afraid to die. Rather than suffer humiliation and have his life's perseverance questioned, he would rather fight her.
