Tang Xiaoxin, with her doubts, looked towards another informational sign next to her.
The sign depicted several little cartoon people, each expressing different viewpoints.
"Nature is very powerful. Don't overestimate our impact; we can't really do much damage to nature."
"Sooner or later, technology will invent something to solve this problem! Even if we reduce plastic use by 20%, 30%, will the whales and dolphins in the sea stop dying?"
"Ordinary people don't need to worry about this issue. It should be the responsibility of governments, corporations, and research institutions. It's not my problem if others don't handle it properly."
"As long as we recycle plastics, everything will be just fine."
Addressing this issue isn't easy, so we often bury our heads in the sand, pretend it doesn't exist, or even come up with poor excuses to appease ourselves.
While nature's adaptability is indeed very strong, it has its limits, and human activities have long surpassed those limits.
