After confronting Linda Linda, Tapai grabbed Sun Jack's hand and started dragging him outside.
"Let's get out of here. There's no way I'm letting those Third Class jerks use your life as a cognition bomb! Our guys have surrounded the place. If they want to play tough, then let's see how they like a taste of AA's nuclear bombs!"
However, the increasing pull on her hand anchored Tapai in place. She turned around in surprise to look at Sun Jack.
Sun Jack smile at her and slowly shook his head.
Tapai's right fist clenched and smashed straight into Sun Jack's left cheek, "Shake what, goddammit! Move it! Come home with me!"
"Tapai!" Sun Jack finally called out and halted her rash action. "You should understand, there are things I have to do."
"Why not send a clone of Sun Jack then? Is there a need to go yourself? Isn't that what we've always done?" Tapai retorted.
Just as Linda Linda was about to speak, Sun Jack cut her off. "If we use a clone for every dirty job, do you think my clone will willingly sacrifice itself?"
"I've used clones in the past for all sorts of things, mostly bad things. But now, it's finally my turn."
Linda Linda nodded in agreement, "And this is what we've infiltrated into Omega 31, having a Sun Jack like this makes him truly unique."
"If Sun Jack really wanted to just throw a clone in there as a stand-in for his own death, then that's not the kind of conviction we'd need."
Sun Jack let go of Tapai's hand, then patted her on the shoulder and walked towards the flesh machines.
"As long as it's worth it, as long as it can stop the Poet, then I have to go."
But Tapai's words stopped him again. "Wait! What about the Utopia Federation? What about everything you once fought for? Are you just giving up because you didn't achieve your goals? Are you running away? You coward!"
Sun Jack turned to face her and mockingly repeated her words, "Something like that, couldn't I just send a clone of Sun Jack to deal with it? Why the need to do it myself?"
After the joke, Sun Jack looked seriously at Tapai and said, "I haven't given up on the Utopia Federation. Even if my ideal hasn't been realized, how long do you think the Federation can hold out against the siege of the Poet? One year? Six months? Three months? Or even less?"
The scenes of disaster around them continued, with people on Earth dying every moment.
"The Utopia Federation has my friends and my former ideals. What I'm doing is precisely trying everything to protect them, including you."
Hearing this, tears welled up in Tapai's eyes, and she rushed over to hug Sun Jack tightly.
Sun Jack patted her on the back and whispered, "You have my DNA. I'm going to copy my memory data to you as well. After you go back, you help clone a Sun Jack for me, to take command of the entire Utopia Federation."
"My generation might be out of luck, but I don't think my ideas are wrong. Go back and keep an eye on the education and troop morale. As long as we can survive, I believe our descendants will come up with better solutions. Remember, this is my last order to you."
After a lengthy speech, Sun Jack let go of Tapai and walked towards the open flesh bed,
And as Sun Jack approached, the bed seemed to come to life, with its surface starting to ripple slightly, as if countless tiny lives were squirming inside.
"Third Class technology is so freaking weird," he said and then lay down on the bed directly.
Watching the bed slowly cover the Tapai's body, she clenched her fists tightly, took a few quick steps, but ultimately, the Sea Knight did nothing and just stood there.
As Sun Jack closed his eyes, his body relaxed, and the tentacles of the flesh bed gently stretched out, releasing a gentle electric current amidst the haze. Gradually, Sun Jack felt his body enveloped by layers of halos, like an egg about to hatch.
"Your genetic technology is so fucking awesome, can you do me a favor? I have a friend who's been badly hurt in the head, and it's hard to say whether she is alive or dead right now. Could you take a look and see if you can help wake her up?"
Sun Jack spoke, seeking a glimmer of hope for Linda Linda.
However, after finishing his words, Sun Jack found that no one was listening to him.
"I'm talking to you, did you even hear---" Sun Jack's words were cut off abruptly.
As he opened his eyes, everything that once was had vanished; before him was darkness, nothing more.
No, to be exact, that wasn't darkness because Sun Jack found that he couldn't see, hear, smell, or touch anything.
Not only had all of his senses disappeared, but even his body no longer existed.
Yet in place of this, Sun Jack found that his ability to think had accelerated. Whatever he thought about or recorded was completed almost instantly.
It was hard for Sun Jack to describe this sensation; he could only say it was completely different from when he was inside his own body.
Though extremely unaccustomed, Sun Jack's ability to learn new knowledge was almost instantaneous, and soon he discovered some things appearing around him.
"python import requests import time def access_url_continuously(url, interval=1): while True: try: response = requests.get(url) print(f"Status Code:{response.status_code}..."
"Python language? Binary old stuff?? This doesn't seem like Third Class's thing." As he rapidly learned, Sun Jack began to understand the meanings contained in various data streams.
Soon Sun Jack received an access request from Tapai and "saw" Tapai beyond the screen.
Sensory wires drilled out from Tapai's skin, quickly coming out from the adjacent flesh device, making contact with Sun Jack once more.
For a while, the two of them looked at each other, both without words.
At that moment, Sun Jack felt as if he was back on the space station, except their roles were completely reversed.

"୧⍢⃝୨ Don't give me that look, look at you, then look at me, how funny is this, now I've become AI, and you have become human."
"Do you find this funny? You might never come back! You big idiot!" Tapai cursed angrily as tears slid down his cheeks like a flower festival.
"Don't be so stiff, tell a joke. Even though I've always been critical, I actually quite like your Hell jokes. If I didn't have your Hell jokes with me along the way, I really couldn't have kept going for so long."
Tapai forcefully wiped away his tears and, gritting his teeth, shouted this: "Call me master!!"
