In that moment, Chiron pulled from his quiver a green-gold arrow inscribed with secret text and shot it into the heart of the serpentine-footed giant Perros.

A deathly gray aura spread from the arrow's tip, causing the giant, who had just risen, to fall again, with its healing and regeneration visibly slowing down.

But soon, the torn heart valves of the giant started to squirm, inch by inch pushing Chiron's arrow out of its body.

Seeing this, Chiron's heart sank.

The God of Craftsmanship, Hephaestus, had once rushed to produce for the Argo Expeditionary Army's heroes a batch of Divine Artifacts specifically designed to target immortality.
