The patterns of light spread across Rome, at the Heroic Bath, the Great Arena, and on the streets where the Romans stopped their tasks, arms outstretched, joyfully and devoutly welcoming the blessing from Dionysus, the God of Wine.

This is the most human-friendly, selfless, and merciful deity.

Whenever a celebratory day arrives, they all equally receive this god's blessing, which is the reason for so many festivals in Rome.

The golden rain of light faded from dense to thin, marking the end of the opening blessing announcement.

As the priests finished their lengthy chanting, reminiscing about Rome's founding history and recounting the illustrious contributions of past Roman emperors, the current elder emperor, Claudius I, holding Nero's hand, ascended the rose petal-covered steps to the square.

And immediately after, it was time to officially meet the gods and complete the transfer of power.
