Chapter 116: Unreasonable Request

The Baron and his wife came downstairs about a quarter of an hour later.

Russell guessed it was probably because his mother, Lady Meryl, hadn't gotten up earlier—having given birth, a lady of her stature had the privilege of lying in, with servants attending to her every need from bathing and dressing to having breakfast in bed.

Russell stood up and nodded in response, "Yes, Father."

Roland picked up the jade box and passed it to the Baron, "Father, take a look, Russell's mushroom insect is indeed excellent, but unfortunately, it lacks a bit of talent."

Baron Roman took the jade box, examined it carefully, but said nothing. Instead, he handed it over to Lady Meryl.
