Sam sat at his desk, his fingers tapping rhythmically on the polished wood surface. The message from Nitin replayed in his mind like a haunting echo. Nitin was in trouble, and Sam had to act quickly. He turned to Pushp, his ever-reliable guide, with a determined look.
"Pushp, I need you to check on Nitin. Try to contact him again."
Pushp's ethereal presence flickered in response. "I will try, Sam."
Minutes ticked by, feeling like hours. Sam's anxiety grew with each passing second. Finally, Pushp's voice echoed in his mind. "I've tried to connect with Nitin, but my attempts have failed."
"Try again, Pushp. We can't afford to lose him," Sam urged.
Pushp made several more attempts, each one more frantic than the last. But the result was the same. "Sam, I'm unable to reach him. It's as if he's been completely isolated from any form of communication."
Sam clenched his fists, frustration bubbling within him. "What do you mean isolated?"
"Something is blocking my telepathy. It's a powerful force, stronger than anything we've encountered before. If I were stronger, I might be able to break through, but as it stands, it's impossible."
Sam sighed heavily, leaning back in his chair. "Alright, we need another plan. We can't just leave him there."
"I understand your concern, Sam. But for now, there's nothing more I can do from here."
Determined not to let despair take hold, Sam picked up a diary and began to jot down a plan. His pen moved swiftly across the pages, outlining his thoughts and ideas.
Maintain the Business: "We need to ensure the company continues to generate revenue through the sale of bee venom, honey, and soon ornamental flowers. I've set up the company and hired professional managers. I'll have to trust them to handle things while I'm gone." He paused, spinning the pen between his fingers. "If there's any sign of corruption or betrayal, I can cut off the product supply immediately."
Build Schools: "I need someone trustworthy to take over the school project. Someone responsible." He thought for a moment, then wrote, "Anna. She's young, responsible, and I've known her long enough to trust her with this."
Save Durinia and Solve the Abyss Problem: "No concrete plans yet, but heading to Durinia might shed some light on what needs to be done."
Sam's mind was racing, filled with concerns for Nitin, the school project, and the looming threat of the Abyss. He decided to act quickly and decisively.
In Maha Lok, Nitin felt the cold grip of the handcuffs tighten around his wrists. His connection to Pushp severed abruptly, leaving him isolated. The military law enforcement officers stood around him, their expressions stern and unyielding.
As they led him away, Nitin managed to send a brief message to Pushp. "Arrested. Can't communicate further." The connection cut off before he could relay more.
Sam stood outside the café where Anna worked, his thoughts heavy but focused. He needed to ensure everything on Earth would continue smoothly in his absence. As he walked in, the familiar aroma of freshly brewed coffee greeted him.
Anna approached with a warm smile. "Hey, Sam! What brings you here?"
"Hey, Anna. Can you sit down for a moment? I need to discuss something important with you."
Anna looked around, seeing that it was a quiet moment in the café. "Sure, give me a second." She quickly finished her tasks and joined Sam at his table.
Sam took a deep breath. "Anna, I need your help. I'm setting up a charity school, and I want you to assist me with it."
Anna's eyes widened in surprise. "Me? Sam, I'm honored, but I don't think I'm qualified for something like this."
Sam smiled reassuringly. "I know it's a big responsibility, but I believe in you. You're trustworthy and responsible, and those are the qualities I need."
Anna hesitated, her mind racing with doubts. "But what if I mess up? What if my inexperience causes problems?"
"Don't worry about that. I'll be there to support you, and even if things don't go perfectly, it won't be a big deal. We'll manage. What's important is that we start making a difference."
Anna took a deep breath, considering his words. "Okay, Sam. I'll do it. I'll help you set up the school."
Sam's face lit up with relief. "Thank you, Anna. You don't know how much this means to me."
Meanwhile, in Durinia, Nitin was led through the town's streets, his mind racing with plans to protect the two women he had hidden. The town of Durinia was ruled by Lord Roy, with a structure divided between the military and civil departments. The military department, responsible for defending the town, was divided into four sections, each guarding one of the town's walls.
As Nitin was taken to the military headquarters, he knew his situation was dire. The arrest order for traitorous actions was serious, and he had to find a way to get a message to Sam. Just as they reached the building, Nitin managed to send a quick mental message to Pushp before the connection was severed.
Back in his office, Sam's phone buzzed with an urgent message from Pushp. "Nitin has been arrested."
Sam's heart pounded as he read the message. He knew he had to act fast, but first, he needed to ensure everything on Earth was in place. With a determined look, he turned to his desk, ready to take the next steps.
