A flicker of surprise flashed across Twist's face. She hadn't expected Goten to guess her purpose so easily. The mortal standing before her was proving to be quite difficult to deal with—not only did he possess overwhelming power, but he was also exceptionally sharp.
"Yes, Mr. Goten," she admitted. "You are absolutely correct. Lord Grand Priestess sent me to seek your aid. With your help, we can overthrow Zeno and the Grand Priest once and for all."
She paused, her eyes narrowing slightly as she observed Goten's expression. "You were once a mortal yourself, so you must understand the feeling of being erased at will. Surely, you harbor resentment toward Zeno and the Grand Priest. Wouldn't you want to take revenge on them?"
Twist spoke quickly, her tone laced with urgency. According to their intelligence, Goten had a history of conflict with Zeno and the Grand Priest. If that information was correct, he wouldn't refuse an opportunity to join forces against them.
Goten smirked slightly. "You're right. For a time, I did hate Zeno and the Grand Priest. I despised the feeling of being erased so effortlessly. But now? They are no longer a threat to me. If I wanted to, I could erase them both in an instant."
His voice was calm, but the weight of his words sent a chill through Twist. Goten's strength had long since surpassed Zeno and the Grand Priest, and he knew it. He had no reason to seek revenge anymore—he had already won.
"This..." Twist hesitated, struggling for a response. Everything she had planned to say became meaningless in the face of Goten's overwhelming power. She had assumed he would be eager to side with them, but now, it was clear that he neither feared Zeno nor the Grand Priest. More importantly, he showed no particular reverence for the Grand Priestess either.
"It seems you have nothing to offer me," Goten said coldly. "In that case, you can go back to wherever you came from."
He gave her an indifferent glance, already losing interest. While he was mildly curious about the Grand Priestess, he had no desire to involve himself in their affairs. If they had a grudge against Zeno and the Grand Priest, that was their problem.
"Mr. Goten, please don't refuse just yet!" Twist pleaded. "If you have any requests, you can state them. As long as it is within our power, we will do everything we can to fulfill them!"
Her desperation was evident. She had been given a direct order to bring Goten to the Grand Priestess, and failure was not an option.
"Oh?" Goten raised an eyebrow, amused by her persistence. "Well, there is something I need help with. If your Grand Priestess can do it, then I might consider working with you. I may even help you deal with Zeno and the Grand Priest."
He leaned forward slightly, studying Twist's reaction. The one obstacle he currently faced was his inability to return to his original timeline. If the Grand Priestess had the power to send him back, then an alliance might be worth considering.
While Goten doubted that the Grand Priestess was stronger than him, he understood that power alone wasn't everything. Even the weakest gods possessed unique abilities that others did not. For example, Supreme Kai had Instant Transmission and the ability to travel between timelines with a space-time ring—something even Angels and Gods of Destruction couldn't do. If the Grand Priestess had a similar ability, she might be useful to him.
"Mr. Goten, please tell me what you need!" Twist exclaimed eagerly. "If it is within our power, we will make it happen!"
She could see a glimmer of interest in Goten's eyes, and that gave her hope. Of course, she knew that anything beyond Goten's abilities would be incredibly difficult for them as well. But for the sake of securing his cooperation, she had no choice but to agree and find a way to fulfill his request.
"It's simple," Goten replied. "I need to return to my original timeline. I don't know if your Grand Priestess has that kind of power, but if she does, then we can talk. If not, then there's no point in continuing this conversation."
His tone remained flat, but Twist could sense the weight of his words. Returning to his own timeline was his top priority—everything else was secondary. If the Grand Priestess truly possessed such an ability, then he might be willing to work with them. Otherwise, he had no reason to care about their plans.
"Timelines travel?" Twist's eyes widened. "Mr. Goten, that is a trivial matter for the Grand Priestess! You can trust me—if you come with me to see her, she will undoubtedly fulfill your request!" She spoke with quickly.
