Goten's Plan—Kakarot, Wait for Me! (Final Chapter)

"Alright, everyone, enough standing around. Goten just got back, so I'm going to cook a delicious meal to welcome him home," Chichi suddenly said.

Goten had been away for months, likely without proper food or rest. Now that he was finally back, she wanted to prepare a meal for him with her own hands.

"Yeah, Chichi's right! Let's head home and talk there!" Goku agreed.

With that, everyone made their way back to the villa in high spirits. Once they were settled, Goten shared the details of his experiences after the timeline collapsed, giving everyone a better understanding of the Grand Priestess and the Angels.

However, Videl still couldn't shake her unease whenever she saw the Grand Priestess. She felt that keeping her around was a potential threat, even if she couldn't explain why.

Time passed quickly.

The Grand Priestess, in a way, became a babysitter in Goten's household, spending her days happily playing with Gozen. The other Angels also adapted to life on Earth, gradually settling in alongside Vados.

Three months went by without any major incidents, making Goten feel increasingly restless.

Saiyans had battle coursing through their blood—it was their nature to fight. Going so long without a real challenge left an emptiness in their hearts. While they still trained together, mere sparring didn't satisfy them.

In the training room, everyone was focused on improving their strength. Even though Goten had surpassed the limits of the entire dimensional universe, he never stopped training. After all, no one could guarantee they wouldn't encounter an even stronger opponent in the future.

"What's going on? That Kakarot still hasn't come looking for me!" Goten muttered, stopping his training.

He had assumed Kakarot would show up within a few days, yet months had passed without a trace of him. Was he giving up on their fight? If so, then the battle Goten had been looking forward to would never happen!

"What's wrong, Goten? You find these peaceful days boring too, don't you?" Bardock approached, sensing his frustration.

"Yeah! Saiyan blood runs through my veins, and fighting is my instinct. This quiet life is dull. And I keep wondering, why hasn't Kakarot come yet?" Goten admitted.

Right now, Kakarot was the only opponent he looked forward to facing. Zeno and the Grand Priest were no match for him. Even the Grand Priest in True Angel form and Zeno in Omni God form couldn't challenge him anymore.

That left Kakarot as his only real interest. If he had truly mastered the Omni God form and unlocked all limiters, then he could be a worthy opponent.

"Goten, there's no need to wait! If Kakarot hasn't come to you, why not go to him? You've already mastered traveling through timelines. You can go to his dimension and find him instead!" Bardock suggested with a smile.

Goten's eyes lit up. "You're right! Why didn't I think of that? If he won't come to me, then I'll go to him! Since the Grand Priestess is with me, I can always return here whenever I want. Thanks, Grandpa!"

There was no reason to keep waiting. If Kakarot wasn't coming, then Goten would take the initiative. He was eager for this battle, and there was no point wasting time in boredom.

"Hah! You were too caught up in waiting. Alright, go, but don't stay away too long. Come back when you're done!" Bardock laughed before returning to train Goku and the others.

Goten, now resolved, left the training room and quickly found the Grand Priestess.

"Lord Goten, do you wish to travel to another timeline? With my abilities, I can take us there easily," she said, a bit surprised.

Over the past few months, she had come to see how much Goten loved his family. Not long ago, he was desperate to return to them, and now he was choosing to leave again. She found it puzzling.

"First, I need to talk to Mom and Videl. After that, we'll go. I should be back in three to five days," Goten replied.

Naturally, he had to inform Chichi and Videl before leaving. The others could find out later.

Though Chichi and Videl were reluctant to let him go, they knew Goten was strong-willed. Once he made up his mind, nothing could stop him. In the end, they agreed to let him go.

As Goten prepared to leave, a confident smirk crossed his face.

"Kakarot, I hope you're stronger than I imagined. Otherwise, I'll be disappointed..."

With those final words, the Grand Priestess and Goten vanished from the universe in a flash of light.

The End.

Author's Note From MTL: "This book is complete! The next story will continue in another book! Now, Goten has reached invincibility..."

TL Note: This has ended, there is likely no continuation, the author possibly made another story with Kakarot as a protagonist and maybe at the end of that book they both meet or something?

That's all folks. Thank you all for your support and company on this journey!

Also started a Patreon page, newly established, dunno shit about it, but made it for those who might want to donate. [I try to get familiar with it, but will take a long long time, and intensive use to understand it's workings.]
