happy birthday

**POV: MC**

Today marks my first birthday, March 1, 1991. Not that I understand much of what's going on, but it's still a special day.

Mom made a homemade chocolate cake for the occasion, and even though it's not fancy, it's the best thing ever. Grandma and Grandpa came over to celebrate, and I got all dressed up in new clothes for the occasion.

I don't know what I'm saying half the time, but everyone seems to think it's cute, so I'll just keep babbling away.

Grandma's my favorite because she always gives me chocolate cookies and soft fruits that I can actually eat. I've got a bit of a sweet tooth, what can I say?

When Mom brought out the chocolate cake, I couldn't help but clap my hands in excitement. Everyone joined in, and it felt like a real party.

I got to taste chicken for the first time in ages, just a couple of pieces, but it was so good. I've been stuck on milk and fruits for so long, I forgot what real food tasted like.

After dinner, we all gathered in the living room, chatting and watching TV. That's when Mom and Dad gave me my first instrument—a toy piano with a microphone that didn't work. But hey, the piano itself worked just fine, and I couldn't have been happier.

It might be small, but it's my first step towards becoming a musician. Music has always been a big part of my life, especially piano music. I've got a sensitive ear, you know?

Grandma and Grandpa surprised me with a toy xylophone shaped like a table. I had a blast playing with it, even if my rhythm was a bit off.

Spending my birthday with my family was the best gift I could ask for. I love them all to bits, just like I love music.

I've already got some favorite songs from the 1990s, like "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice, "U Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer, and "Nothing Compares 2 U" by Sinéad O'Connor. They're classics.

"Those who love chocolate, type 'chocolate' in the comments."

"If you don't like it, then you're a weirdo."

You guys can listen to these songs on YouTube.
