Part 21: Kidnaper Trees

The wind howled through the dense forest, carrying with it a chill that cut through the night. I huddled close to the dwindling fire, seeking warmth against the biting cold. Exhaustion weighed heavy upon my eyelids, pulling me into the realm of dreams.

But sleep offered no respite, only torment. In the twisted landscape of my mind, I found myself amidst a raging inferno, the jungle ablaze with flames that licked hungrily at the sky. Trees, our friends, stood tall and proud, yet now they writhed in agony, their cries echoing through the inferno.

In an instant, he was on his feet, clutching his weapon, ready to face whatever new threat lurked in the shadows.
