Part 99: New Facts of Zombies

When we reached the base station, a mix of relief and uncertainty filled the air. Dr. Marcus, looking pensive, approached Mother Miranda. “I was thinking about your husband, Mr. Moore. If we could find him, our work would be complete,” he said, his voice tinged with disappointment.

Mother Miranda nodded solemnly. “Both my daughters are with me. We will find their father,” she replied, her determination evident. “I wish I had more time,” I added, feeling the weight of our unfinished mission.

Mother Miranda came closer, her gaze steady and intense. “You are not going far from here,” she said softly but firmly. “Zombies have their own facts. Now they are a part of life. You have to come back here, or otherwise, zombies will reach your home.”

Her words hung in the air, heavy with implication. “If it is so, we will find Mr. Moore,” Captain Lee affirmed as he stepped out of the airplane, his resolve clear.
