Morning Light on Love's Canvas

Than, feeling awkward, turned around, "Ahhh...sorry. But I had no idea you were doing this here. Umm, I think I should leave now."

Nil, also feeling awkward, hurriedly explained, "Thannn, there's nothing that you're thinking. Actually, there was something on my lips, and he was just helping me clean it. And then why don't you join us..."

"In fact, I came here to ask about your food," Than interjected.

"Ooo...so sweet of you, Than. Now please come and have dinner with us," Nil insisted, trying to diffuse the tension.

Witnessing this interaction, Kao couldn't help but feel a surge of jealousy. As Nil persistently invited Than for dinner, Kao found himself unable to refuse. Than, somewhat relieved, commented, "Umm, it smells so good. What's that?"

Nil explained, "Actually, it's called 'Khichdi,' but you can think of it as 'Bangladeshi risotto.'"

Turning to Than, Kao spoke with an annoyed polite tone, "Than..."

"Yes, Sirrr," Than responded.

"Don't you think, before entering anyone's personal space, you should knock on the door first?" Kao questioned.

Still quiet, Than absorbed the comment. Nil intervened, saying, "Strangerrr, he is already under pressure seeing us like that. Don't put him through more."

As everyone finished their meal, "Now..." Than began.

"Off you go now," Kao concluded, urging him to depart.

Observing this, Nil looked at Kao with big eyes and tried to persuade Than to stay longer. However, given the tense atmosphere, Than chose to leave. Once Than left, Kao confronted Nil.

"Why did you leave the door open, and why are you talking to him so nicely?" Kao questioned with a little rough tone.

Nil, with a calm demeanor, responded, "You're just being possessive. Than is a good guy; he dropped me off and helped me find this beautiful flat."

Changing the subject, Kao asked, "By the way, why are we talking about him?"

Nil playfully teased, "At least now you got the point."

Suddenly, without warning, he scooped Nil up in his arms and carried him into the room. Nil closed his eyes.

Suddenly, Kao swept him up in his arms and carried him into the room. Nil's gaze was fixed on him throughout. Gently laying him down on the bed, Kao closed the door behind them. As Nil moved to turn off the light, Kao caught his hand and, kissing it tenderly, silently urged him to keep the light on. Nil protested softly, "But...Stranger..."

Placing a finger on Nil's lips, Kao whispered in a mesmerizing, soft tone, "You still talk too much..."

He then leaned in to press a gentle, lingering kiss on Nil's tender lips, which Nil eagerly reciprocated. Growing bolder, Nil pushed Kao onto the bed and straddled him. He began to unbutton Kao's shirt, his kisses trailing along Kao's lips

The room was bathed in bright light, and the air conditioner hummed in the background, yet Nil's golden skin was slick with sweat beneath the thin silk of a white blanket that barely covered them. Kao, completely bare, leaned back against the bed while Nil, with tousled hair and lips swollen, bearing love bites on his neck and chest, rested his head on Kao's smooth, warm chest. Kao sighed deeply, his fingers playfully entwining with Nil's. With his eyes closed Nil listened as Kao's voice, clear and soothing, broke the silence.

"Nil..."

"Hmm?" Nil responded, his voice soft.

Kao's words were teasing. "I've held you in my arms, let me see, three, no, four times. Each time, my hands met with great pain."

Hearing this, Nil lifted his head to stare seriously at Kao. "Did you just call me fat?"

A mischievous smile played on Kao's lips. "No, I didn't."

Nil lifted his head from Kao's chest. "You just did now. I never asked you to carry me."

Kao, taking Nil's hand, gently pulled him closer, their eyes locking. With earnest sincerity, he declared, "I can always hold you in my arms..." And began to smooch and cuddle amorously.

As the morning light began to filter through the room, Kao peacefully slept, wrapped in the aftermath of shared intimacy. Nil, an early riser, moved quietly about the room, preparing an omelet with fried bread and juice for them.

Satisfied with his efforts, Nil approached Kao, ready to wake him up and usher in a new day filled with shared love.
