Embracing Love's Imperfections

As the morning sun began to cast its golden hues through the curtains, a distant bell echoed softly, suffusing the serene air of the room. Kao stirred in their sleep, their brow furrowing in mild confusion at the unfamiliar sound. Beside them, Nil was already awake, a peaceful smile gracing his lips as he glanced towards Kao.

"Mother is beginning her worship," Nil murmured gently.

Kao blinked, slowly rousing from his slumber as he processed Nil's words. "How do you know?" he inquired, their curiosity piqued.

Nil rose from their bed, the warmth of morning enveloping him like a comforting embrace. "After her devotions, she makes her rounds through each room, offering prayers to Lord Krishna for the well-being of all within."

As Nil prepared to depart, a sudden tug on his hand halted his movements. Startled and bashful, he recoiled slightly as Kao drew him closer.

"What are you doing, Stranger? Let go of me!" Nil's voice quivered with a mix of shock and uncertainty.
