The magic circle and the crystal.

I watched from behind as Neris approached the magic circle and the crystal. He observed for a moment before Glax had already transformed into the small soldier with swords.

After analyzing, Neris took out what seemed to be a small box or something similar and placed it in Glax's hands. He then began chanting some kind of spell, pointing his staff at the box, the crystal, and the magic circle. As he chanted, dark energy and death energy enveloped them both.

It was clear that the crystal and the magic circle were trying their best to resist, as the floor and the ground began to tremble, and the external miasma seemed to want to enter.

But at that moment, something emanated from Neris, emitting a power and energy that reminded me of the god Carionte, though it was different... Could it be an item given by a death god or something similar? I was curious, but it wasn't something I could ask about.
