Although nanomedical technology is incredibly advanced and capable of regenerating missing body parts, the regenerated areas require time to fully integrate and function like the original. Additionally, current nanomedical technology can only regenerate non-critical body parts like limbs, skin, and muscles. It cannot yet create internal organs that match the longevity and functionality of natural human organs. This limitation isn't due to an inability to create these organs but rather because the artificially created organs tend to deteriorate quickly.
Currently, Zhao Helen and her team are researching ways to produce organs using nanotechnology that can match the lifespan and durability of natural human organs. After some hesitation, Daniel Davis agreed to support this research. His hesitation stemmed from the fact that he already possesses the capability to create fully functional artificial organs, which can be achieved without the use of Philosopher's Stones.
In the world of Fullmetal Alchemist, while the overall technology may be behind that of the Marvel Universe, their medical knowledge is advanced in certain areas. For instance, the technology behind automail prosthetics is remarkable, especially the nerve integration techniques, even though the installation process is excruciating. Similarly, in the world of Qin Shi Ming Yue, the Mo Clan and Gongshu Clan have their own expertise in mechanical limbs. Master Ban and Gongshu Chou both have mechanical arms, with Gongshu Chou even sporting a mechanical leg.
However, the complex mechanisms in the mechanical limbs of these masters make them difficult for ordinary people to use as naturally as their own limbs. Even Tianming, after dismantling Master Ban's mechanical arm, struggled to reassemble it properly.
Combining all these technologies, Daniel has made significant breakthroughs in prosthetics. Today, prosthetics from the Feifei Group are highly sought after worldwide due to their exceptional quality and affordability. The price advantage has disrupted the market, leading other prosthetic manufacturers to band together against him. Prosthetics are a highly profitable industry, and Daniel's entry into the market has sharply reduced their profits, leading many to label him a fool who doesn't know how to make money.
Daniel, however, simply dismisses these criticisms with a cold smile. He doesn't care about their opposition. Except for a few industries where aggressive pricing would have significant consequences, such as energy and pharmaceuticals, he has no interest in appeasing them. If he wanted, he could easily drive oil prices down to the level of cabbage, making a mockery of the energy sector.
In the pharmaceutical industry, the situation is even more delicate. Despite having long discovered cures for diseases like AIDS, Daniel refrains from publicizing these treatments. Instead, he only helps a select few, mainly those who share his background and values. This group excludes those who are enamored with the allure of America and reluctant to return to their homelands—people he considers not worth his attention.
Thanks to Daniel's contributions, SHIELD no longer has much use for Fitz's prosthetic technology. Fitz had once designed a prosthetic for Coulson, but most people would prefer to regain their natural limbs rather than use prosthetics.
"You all need to take care of her. For the next two months, she should not use her powers at all." After examining Skye's arms, Daniel gave strict instructions to Coulson and his team.
"Understood. Simmons, Skye is in your hands," Coulson said with a nod and a smile, turning to Simmons.
"Yes, Director."
"Resource gathering has been swift—having an AI assistant is indeed convenient." After leaving Coulson's base, Daniel returned to his villa in New York, where Red Queen had nearly completed gathering the materials he had requested. These materials were primarily intended for use in the world of Qin Shi Ming Yue, covering a wide range of topics from agriculture to water management.
Second in importance were the resources for the world of Attack on Titan. Initially, Daniel hadn't given much thought to that world, but after visiting the Qin Kingdom, he realized that the resources from the Titan world, particularly medicinal herbs, couldn't be overlooked.
It's not just the world of Titans—Daniel has been collecting medicinal herbs from Fullmetal Alchemist, Harry Potter, Hunter x Hunter, and, most importantly, One Piece. With access to so many worlds, producing potent medicines like the Qi Gathering Pill is almost trivial for him. With alchemy combined with his Op-Op Fruit powers, Daniel could create a variety of new, powerful pills if he chose to focus on it.
The medicinal properties of herbs from different worlds vary greatly, and the potential in the Hunter x Hunter world is comparable to that in One Piece. While the Dark Continent in Hunter x Hunter harbors incredible secrets, the herbs there hold unparalleled value, even surpassing those in One Piece.
"It seems these two have taken a liking to the Hunter world." Upon returning to the Hunter x Hunter world and meeting with Ada and Robin, he learned that they were both enamored with this world and had even teamed up to explore several ruins on the Six Continents. Ada, with her love for adventure, and Robin, with her expertise in history and archaeology, made a perfect team. Their abilities—Ada's advanced Hatsu and Robin's Hana Hana no Mi—made them nearly invincible on the Six Continents, so long as they avoided the Dark Continent and its unknown dangers.
"However, Robin's Nen ability is particularly impressive." Initially, Daniel had been somewhat disappointed that he hadn't acquired Nobunaga's 4th Dimensional Mansion ability, but after learning about Robin's Nen ability, his disappointment vanished. Robin's ability is similar to Nobunaga's, as it involves creating a safe, hidden space—a reflection of her desire for a secure sanctuary.
The "Safe Treehouse" is the manifestation of Robin's Nen ability, a space within a giant tree that resembles the Library of Ohara before its destruction. Daniel analyzed this ability, realizing that, with time, he could develop his own independent dimension.
Unfortunately, Ada's Hatsu ability proved less useful to Daniel. Likely influenced by her Goro Goro no Mi (Thunder Fruit), Ada's Nen ability further enhances her control over electricity. Her ability to manipulate lightning has only grown more potent with the addition of Nen.
"Who would have thought the Dark Continent harbors such incredible things?" Ada remarked, her excitement evident as she lounged by a private pool in a stylish red swimsuit, discussing the secrets of the Dark Continent.
In some ways, Ada shares a passion with Robin for archaeology, but while Robin seeks truth, Ada is driven by the allure of the unknown. The ruins on the Six Continents and the mysteries of the Dark Continent are irresistible to her.
Ada has proven to be far more adept at gathering intelligence than Daniel, and in a short time, she has uncovered more information than he had previously known.
"With your abilities, we could be unstoppable on the Dark Continent." With Daniel's Secret Technique of the Gate and Robin's Safe Treehouse, they could retreat or hide with ease, maintaining a link between the Six Continents and the Dark Continent.
"We shouldn't rush into this. We should gather more detailed information and strengthen our abilities before making any moves," Daniel said cautiously.
"Don't worry, I'm not that impulsive."
"It seems these two aren't suited for Qi cultivation after all. We'll have to set that aside for now." Daniel had considered teaching Ada and Robin the techniques for cultivating Qi, but after careful consideration, he decided against it. The top cultivation techniques from the Qin Shi Ming Yue world require alignment with the philosophies of the Hundred Schools of Thought. Neither Ada nor Robin seemed well-suited for such philosophical training.
The alternative techniques, which don't require philosophical alignment, were too basic and not worth the effort. It was better for them to focus on mastering their current abilities.
"How typical—they rarely stick around when I have time for them." After spending a few days with Ada and Robin, they left for an adventure they had already planned—a trip to explore a newly discovered ruin on an island in the Inner Sea.
The Six Continents are full of ruins, some of which have been explored, while others remain untouched. New ruins occasionally surface due to earthquakes, tsunamis, and other natural disasters.
Even someone as accomplished as Ging Freecss couldn't possibly explore every ruin.
"Since I have some free time, I might as well do some exploring of my own." While Ada and Robin were focused on ruins, Daniel had his sights set on something bigger—the exploration of entire worlds. After making the necessary preparations, he donned his Ant-Man suit and set off.
"What a beautiful environment." Upon entering a new world, Daniel took in the towering trees and fresh air. He extended his Haki, sensing his surroundings.
"There are many beasts here... no, their aura is stronger than that of ordinary animals. Some are even comparable to the creatures in the One Piece world." After surveying the forest, Daniel headed in the direction where he had sensed human activity. He chose this direction because he had detected a person up ahead.
"This is...?" Moving swiftly, Daniel soon arrived near the person he had sensed, only to find himself in an awkward situation. Before him was a slender, beautiful figure bathing in a moonlit stream.
As a rare gentleman, Daniel took in the scene for only a moment before withdrawing several meters and then moving forward again—this time making sure to make some noise.
"Who's there?" The sudden noise startled the bathing woman, who quickly dashed to the shore. But instead of immediately dressing, she transformed into a hawk and took to the sky.
"A devil fruit? Or something else?" Daniel was genuinely surprised. The hawk circled over him briefly, its keen eyes studying him before flying behind a nearby tree.
"She didn't leave." Sensing that the woman had returned to her human form behind the tree, Daniel waited patiently.
"Hello," she said after a moment, stepping out from behind the tree. She was a beautiful girl with long, fiery red hair, headphones around her neck, and a strange box in her left hand.
"Hello." Daniel responded with a smile, subtly noting the gleaming needle hidden in her right hand behind her back.
Perhaps she thought she was being discreet, but Daniel noticed immediately. Most people wouldn't pay much attention to such details when faced with a beautiful girl, but Daniel wasn't most people. The needle was sharp and ready, a sign of her caution.
"Sorry to bother you. I seem to have gotten lost. Could you tell me where I am?" Daniel asked with a smile, not letting on that he had noticed her weapon.
"Lost?" The girl, taken aback by his words, paused before smiling and responding, "You're near the forest of the Water Capital. Just keep going in that direction, and you'll reach the city."
"They have a Water Capital here too?" Daniel wondered to himself, but outwardly, he maintained his smile. "I see. Thank you."
Though curious about this beautiful and mysterious girl with her shapeshifting abilities, Daniel decided it would be wise not to attract too much attention. Her caution was understandable in such an environment, and he preferred to keep a low profile.
"Wait! I'm headed to the Water Capital too—how about we go together?" The girl called out as Daniel began to walk away. "There are a lot of dangerous creatures in this forest. If you've made it this far without a scratch, you must be really strong. I'm Chelsea, by the way. What's your name?"
"Chelsea... that name sounds familiar." With this thought in mind, Daniel introduced himself.
"Wow, you're amazing! You took down that One-Horned Wolf so easily!" Chelsea gushed, watching in awe as the black-furred, one-horned wolf lay dead at Daniel's feet.
"It's not that I'm amazing—it's just that the wolf was too weak."
