Yellow Turbans

188 AD:Bingzhou

"Keep walking trash"

A yellow turban yelled in annoyance, as I and some other tied prisoners, pulled a carriage full of ransacked goods, from a village

the turbans raided an hour ago

~Grunt~

grunting, we struggled to pull the heavy load, causing the turban from before to scoff at us,

"Trash the lot of ya, if only ya weren't needed to carry our loot, ya lot would've been with ya trash of a dead family already hahah"

As he laughed the others laughed as well

as dread can be felt from my fellow prisoners, I on the other hand felt nothing

a cold dead look is ever present on my expression, as I continued pulling carriage

after that, we were forced to follow them to their hideout, to which l'm certain we'll be killed immediately, after we've finished our intented purpose.

but as we grew closer, signs of a brutal battle can be spotted suspiciously close to the hideout, the turbans mentioned earlier

which caused them to cautiously observe their surroundings, as unknown soldiers and turbans alike, lay dead on the cold hard ground

when we finally arrived at a small wooden fortress, which I assume is they're hideout

a man can be seen standing alone at the gates, emitting a strong bloodlust, targeted at the yellow turbans around us

he smirked in arrogance, as he raised his weapon, a double bladed halberd in the air

on que, a squad of a hundred troops flanked us by the rear, as they charge forward

startled, the 70 or so turbans hurriedly tried to form a defensive formation, but not having enough time, the hundred troops collided, causing the battle to begin

as men of varying uniforms fought, seeing a chance, I tackled a turban near me, not giving him enough time to react, I bit into his neck, causing him to struggle in pain as blood drip down from his neck.

after I got to sank my teeth deep enough, I pulled hard, taking with me his throat completely leaving him dead on the ground, fear struck upon face

~Pui~

I spat out the throat stuck between my teeth,as I quickly cut the rope tied to my arms, using the sword that the turban dropped

after I cut my self free, I grabbed the sword and looked around

In the mids of 8 turbans killing the other prisoners, they froze in place, surprised at the event that just occurred

taking this chance, I charge at the closes one, aiming my sword directly to his body, I used the momentum in my charge to bypass the little amount of armour covering him

Piercing his chest, he screamed in pain, regaining his focus he endured the pain, and raised his own sword intending to kill me

but not giving him the chance, I pulled my head back and struck his face, blood flowed from his broken nose, as the pain stunned him for a sec

but that was enough for me to pull out my sword, and swang at his neck finally killing him

after he died, the other turbans finally came to their senses, as they raised their swords and charged at me filled with anger

seeing this, with no apparent change in my expression, I too charge intending to kill every last one them.

??? POV:

30 mins passed

the battle has concluded, with all the turban trash dead

so as my soldiers went to clear the out the area

I asked for a casualty report from one of the soldiers wandering about, he saluted in affirmation of my order

he then left,

as I stand above the bodies of filth that littered the ground

I spotted an unfamiliar figure leaning by a tree, a bloody sword in hand as blood covered his entire body

curious I went closer

as I arrived Infront of him, I looked at his current state

wounds littered his body both big and small, with the most notable being a big cut right across his face

but strangely enough, he doesn't seem to be fazed by the amount of wounds he has,

"Hey you alive?"

I asked, making him look up at me, giving me a cold dead stare

💢

which infuriated me a little bit ,

"Bastard! don't look at me like that, it's disgusting"

I yelled at him, to which he just ignored

barely holding my self back, I told him in a cold tone,

"Fine! ya bastard don't listen, but be sure to get yourself treated, I don't want some random peasant to die, just as we finished cleaning up the trash."

after that I turned around, and went back inside the fortress, waiting for the soldier from earlier to give me the casualty report.

POV:

I looked at the man standing Infront of me

he was strong, unbelievably so

I cannot fathom to what degree, but I believe he'll be someone big in the future

though he may not last long, with how Barbaric his attitude is,

"I'll observe for now, maybe I'll see something in him worth following."

with that I stood up, and went to get my wounds treated

after I arrive at a small clearing of tents set up for treating the injured, I was confronted by a soldier asking if I needed anything

I stare at him with my cold dead eyes, marveling at just how stupid this moron is,

"Dumb"

I uttered hoarsely, which made the soldier realise his dumb question,

"haha..ha, sorry about that."

he scratched his head as he felt dumb asking that question,

"well come on then, let get your wounds treated, especially that one on your face"

he pointed out, noticing the pitying tone he was giving me,

"Shut it!"

after that, I went on to get my self treated by the soldier who introduced himself as Da Wei, a son of a small minor clan, situated at Taiyuan city, which the province inspector is using as his base of operations

I thanked him for his help, as he gave me a kind smile,

"heh no need to thank me, I'm really not good with fighting, but I make up for it with my medical knowledge"

nodding at his kind attitude,

"your a good person, though a bit dumb"

he scratched his head in embarrassment,

"thanks, l guess?"

after that he continued to treat me, he told me, that most of my injuries would be healed in a week or so, but the more major injuries such as the cut across my face will take time, so he suggested on seeing him weekly for check ups, to get my injuries re-treated

he then left, to help with treating the other soldiers

as I was left alone, I stared at my wounded body, as a thought came my to mind,

"I'ts not enough"

and after that thought passed, I finally let the exhaustion hit me as I layed down at the bed and slept,
