Battle for Shuozhou Pass: Final

General Hou's POV

(Just as the battle started)

I walked amongst the enemy's camp wandering about waiting for a perfect time to execute my plan

I looked up at the walls hearing the battle cries on the other side indicating that the battle has began

The men around me started to scatter around preparing their gear

Seeing this I blended amongst them as I tried to find where the gate lever were

After looking around for a bit I finally found it inside one of the towers beside the gates, the only problem is that a young man was guarding it

I felt that we have the same level of strength

"This may get a bit tricky"

I muttered as I waited for an opportunity to strike

After a bit of waiting I finally struck seeing as he got distracted by an explosion that occurred on top of the walls

~Ting~

I aimed for his head to which he barely dodge as it caused a small wound on his face

"Ahh fuck"

I heard him say as he tried to reposition himself

Not giving him time to react though I quickly attacked without mercy

Causing him curse again as he tried dodge my strikes

Finally he was able to take out his weapons, a set of daggers as he entered a stances I haven't seen before

I readied myself for anything unexpected but as I blinked one his daggers were already headed towards my face causing me to step back

'So fast!'

After backing up I assess him closely as he went back to his stance looking at me intensely

I breath in to relax my nerves as I figure out how I'll be dealing with him without alerting everyone outside

Minutes passed as we still stood in our place waiting for one of us to move

And as I blinked again I was suddenly alerted when he attacked unexpectedly

As I blocked his dagger but it wasn't over as after that his other dagger aimed for my heart

Causing me to push him back to give myself some distance

I looked at him as he again went back to his stance

~Sigh~

"So thats how you fight although effective I can tell it hasn't gotten to it full potential yet"

I complimented after assessing his style

"So what if it isn't complete its enough to kill you"

He exclaimed still cautiously observing me for any sudden movement

~Sigh~

"I don't know if your aware but Expert Class warriors like us we can't evaluate our combat prowess by our auras anymore"

I explained as my expression turned serious

"We evaluate it by how much we've perfected our own combat styles"

I said as I finally let my restraints go as I fully intend to go all out

The air around me started to twist and bend as my killing intent started to manifest itself in a gaseous form

I then changed my stance into a more relaxed posture as my weapon is perched on top of my shoulder with my body lowered

"Hey what's happening why do you feel different how are you getting stronger"

I heard him ask confused and alert at my current state

"As I said the more perfected your style is than your opponent the more powerful you become"

Looking directly at him I told him in an arrogant manner

"So let give you a taste on what a real expert class warrior is"

After saying that I charged at him much faster than before surprising him a bit

As I arrived I swang my blade at him causing him to dodge but mid swing the muscles in my arms bulge as I redirected my blow towards him

Startled he tried to block but it was futile as even when I striked in a close distance the force behind it hasn't disappeared causing for the original force to double

~Ting~ ~Crack~

I heard something crack as he flew towards the walls blood flew everywhere as even though he blocked his weapon exploded into tiny shards upon impact giving him a ton of wounds on his body

After seeing if he was still alive I sighed in relief as he was only unconscious

I let go of my current state as I let the air around me to turn back to normal

Hearing shout from the outside I hurriedly went to the lever and pulled it to open the gates

And on que soldiers started to inside as they surrounded me with some others taking taking the young man outside

Having finally completed my mission I tightened my hold on my blade as I warned the soldiers around me

"If non of you wants to die then get out of my way"

No one backed down as they charged towards me without any fear

"Then Die"

Lu Bu's POV

"HAHAHA"

I laughed in excitement as I swang my halberd killing many enemies with a single swing

"Kill!!"

I shouted to my soldiers as we wreak havok upon the enemy's camp killing anyone we see

As we continued our rampage I saw in the distance a enemy cavalry unit heading towards us

They shot arrow at my soldiers killing a significant amount

Seeing this I ordered them to focus on the opposing enemy cavalry as I targety the one leading them

Seeing him also head towards me I charged forward with my horse intending to kill him quickly

"Hahaha I'm here to take your head you Han bastard"

The dog barked but I didn't listen as when he finally arrived within my effective range I swang

A strike so fast no sound was made

As we passed each other I didn't look back as the head of the horse was chopped right off with the man's body slipt into two across his stomach as his upper half fell off with the lower part still stuck to the horse

After that I looked on at the shocked faces on everyone as I ordered now bored of seeing those dogs

"Kill them all"

???'s POV

Looking from a distance seeing that young man get killed I sighed

~Sigh~

"I told him to stay put but he wouldn't listen.., that man won't be happy with this news"

I scratched my head in annoyance as I have to face the wrath of someone I shouldn't offend

~Sigh~

Sighing I called out to someone as I ordered for a full retreat

"Fall back, order the ones at the front to distract the enemy with the others at the back to retreat"

He saluted as he hurriedly went to pass on my order

I then looked at the man that lead those enemy cavalry unit As I assess that he was at the peak of master level the same as the man he couldn't offend

After looking for a few more minutes I turned around and left as the battle already concluded
