A few hours passed and David woke up, the light from outside was beginning to slowly filter through the windows, he stood up slowly trying not to wake up his wife and began to rummage around as quietly as he could looking for where Snow had hidden the gun the previous day.
Snow had went to turn over but when she felt the bed was empty and just her in it. She woke up to heard David moving around but knew what he was looking for a slowly sat up, she watched him a minute before she spoke. "It's in a box in the closet." She told him but she did feel more rested after sleeping.
David briefly turned to look over his shoulder as Snow spoke and he nodded. "Thanks" he moved over to the closet and moved a things around spotting the box. He picked up the gun from inside and placed it in the holster on his belt. "move it again and I'll handcuff you to the bed" he teased softly, his mind still weighing heavily on the previous day. He sighed and kissed her forehead before leaving the room. Snow gave a nod as she watched him but she couldn't help but give a small laugh hearing the tease. Though she still knew about the argument from yesterday she was at least glad David didn't seem so angry and that he was back to his teasing self.
When Henry woke up, he laid in bed just a few minutes longer before he looked at the time on his phone. He thought if texting Regina but he didn't know if she was up yet but he got up and ready for the day and walked downstairs but his stomach was growling already remembering he hadn't really ate dinner the night before. David spotted Henry coming down the stairs and smile. "Hey kid...how you doing?" He asked as he grabbed his phone from where it was charging up, he hoped that Henry still wasn't too angry with him.
Henry looked up hearing David and just offered a small smile as he shrugged but then he spoke. "I'm hungry." He admitted. Although he was worried about his adoptive mother but he decided to just let it be for now, though he was still a bit upset he hadn't been able to spend any time with her like he wanted to yesterday.
David nodded and looked at Henry with a frown. "we can stop by granny's if you want? Or I can make you some pancakes or a grilled cheese?" He offered. The kid seemed more upset than yesterday, it was obviously still in his mind whatever was going on. He went back into his and Snows bedroom and leaned over her giving her a little kiss. "Would you mind checking on Regina today? Henry still seems pretty down about her cancelling" he said quietly hoping Henry wouldn't overhear. "I'm going to take him to work on operation confused" he said hoping to distract him slightly. Henry looked at his grandfather and smiled a bit. "I wouldn't mind going to Granny's he told him before he went to go and get his shoes and cost on.
When Snow saw David come back in, she looked up at him as she now sat on the edge of the bed, returning the small kiss and nodded. "I don't mind going to check on her." She said but gave a small frown when she heard that Henry still seemed a little upset and nodded. "I think him going to the station and working on that sounds like it would be a great idea for him." She agreed and gave a smile before she stood up since she knew Henry always seemed to be happier when he was trying to figure out clues and break a curse.
David nodded at snow and squeezed her hand softly, he knew it would take a while for them to get back to their normal, and he'd have to keep his behaviour in check but he'd definitely try. "thank you" he said then stood up, he grabbed his leather coat and patted henrys back as he opened the door. "Granny's it is then" he smiled, he hoped it was sunny outside, he didn't want to really drive anywhere this morning, and a bit of one on one time would be nice.
Henry looked over at David and smiled some as she walked out of the door and followed him down and out of the building. Once on the sidewalk, he started to head to Granny's but he didn't want it to be an awkward silence so he spoke up. "Think we will be able to find anymore clues about the whole not remembering everything?" He asked. He had questions about the argument but decided to steer away from that. David nodded at Henry's question. "I definitely think so...I'm determined to find some sort of big break through today. We've not had much luck recently have we" he said, hands in his pockets as they headed towards the diner.
Henry gave a nod. "We haven't." He agreed and smiled a bit as he walked, nodding. "I'm sure we could." He said. He was hoping they would. "Have you asked around anymore about Neverland?" He asked curiously. The boy was positive that's where they had been but he was wondering if Hook would know although he decided not to ask that or mention the pirate.
Snow had gotten up and gotten a cup of coffee made, now just sitting and drinking the coffee when she saw her phone light up and grabbed it. "No, I haven't remembered anything." She replied. She had been wanting to and been trying but hasn't had any luck. After she got her coffee drank and she was dressed, she grabbed her coat and put shoes on and her phone before leaving the loft and heading outside but even though she hadn't asked Regina, she did text her. "I'm on my way over." And hit send as she continued on to the mayors home.
David shook his head. "I only had a little bit of time yesterday..." He said knowing that most of it was taken up by the accident and then he went home. "I'm sure we will discover something today. Maybe we could drive over to where we all came through?" He suggested, opening the door to granny's for Henry to walk through. He knew he'd have to talk to Henry soon about upsetting his mom, he was sure that he probably wasn't exactly in Henry's good book right now.
Regina was asleep on the bed, having fallen asleep on top of the covers, she groaned and the events at the ship and her conversation with gold slowly flooded back in, and did her emotions. She sat up and hissed feeling a slight sting, the blood that had come from the cuts on her knuckles had dried slightly and was still sore. She dropped her head back onto the pillow that she was hugging and closed her eyes wanting to be alone a little while longer. Regina sat up in her bed, she was still somewhat tired but she put that down to crying for hours on end, she was hungry but she didn't want to leave her room. She picked up her phone and texted snow. "Remember anything else yet?" She asked, not sure how to start of a conversation that she needed someone to be with her and help her, she saw that as being weak. As she waited for a reply, she left her room and went into the bathroom, running her knuckles under the tap to get rid of the dried blood still on there.
Snow looked at her phone seeing the reply but shook her head to herself as she typed out a response. "I'm coming over. I'm already coming down the street." She hit send before putting her phone away as the mayors house came into view as she walked up to the front door. She was going to make sure she was fine and to talk with her about Henry maybe. As Snow got to the front door, she knocked on it.
Regina went back into her bedroom, locking the door behind her, she was desperate for something to eat but she was scared that she would feel better in doing so, and she didn't deserve that. She read the message and frowned. "that's really not necessary Snow" Regina replied quickly wondering why she wanted to come over, now she was scared, maybe she was angry she slapped David or that she upset henry. She swallowed nervously trying to gather herself but her hand started to shake again.
Regina panicked a little, she couldn't reply to her, her hand still shaking a lot. She knew her bedroom door was locked but she wasn't sure if the front door was, she'd been in such a hurry last night to get inside the house. She walked over to the mirror, looking up at one of the large broken pieces still in place, she was pale, her clothes were a mess and her eyes were bloodshot from the amount of crying. She heard the knock on the door and began getting upset, she didn't need help or anyone checking on her, she slid down on the floor, back against her bedroom door and her knees pulled up to her chest, she screwed her eyes shut tightly and placed a hand on her chest trying to be quiet and focus on her breathing.
When Snow didn't get an answer, she waited another minute but feeling the door unlocked, she let herself in and looked around. "Regina?" She asked until she found her way upstairs and hesitated outside her bedroom before she slowly sat down on the other side of the door before she spoke, making sure she could be heard. "I'm only here to check on you because of Henry. He may not say it but I know he's worried and he's upset." Snow admitted.
Regina's head fell back against the door as snow spoke. "I..." Her voice cracked and she felt her hand shaking violently again, her emotions were just pulling her deeper and deeper down, and dragging her son down with her. "I didn't mean to upset him...I really didn't" she said through the door, voice trembling. "If you see me you'll understand..he...Henry couldn't see me like this" she whimpered slightly, wrapping her arms around her legs, forcing herself to have this conversation with Snow because it was about Henry, otherwise she wouldn't have answered, or just told her to leave her alone. "Tell ...tell him I'm sorry...but you...I'm fine, you can go now" she said feeling tears rolling down her cheeks.
Snow leaned back against the wall that was next to the door as she listened before saying. "I think he is more just worried. Between that argument yesterday even though he doesn't know what was said and you. He's worried about his mom." Snow said, trying to keep her voice gentle. "And if this is still about what you saw, it's not your fault, how do you know it is?" She asked. "The only way we'd be able to know is if Henry remembers the rest of that and being in the cage." She told her softly
Regina closed her eyes and placed her head on the back of the door, listening carefully to her. She could feel her heart breaking, she still couldn't shake the Tremors in her hand or what she had done. "It's not just that" she stood up slowly, barely able to hold herself up from how weak she was. She unlocked the bedroom door and opened it slightly, she poked her head out, looking down so her hair was around her face so hopefully Snow wouldn't see what a mess she was. "Just go home Snow....leave me be" she whispered, she didn't truly want that, but she didn't know if she could handle anyone caring for her or being worried about her right now.
Snow listened but stayed where she was before she looked up hearing the door open and moved to face her. "I'm not leaving." She said, not making any move to get up and leave. "I know that we have had our differences and everything. But I do consider you my friend and a part of my family no matter what others say. And when someone is my friend and they are upset. I want to help them how I can and I am not going to leave. I'm right here." She told her, her voice was soft as she spoke.
Regina felt tears roll down her face, she sniffed a little and looked up at Snow, she slowly came out from the bedroom and sat beside snow, knowing she looked like a mess, she sat down by snows side and rest her head on the other woman's shoulder letting out a shaky sigh. "I'm sorry" she whispered weakly, she was tempted to fall asleep on Snow, she didn't understand why she didn't just leave, how she could still see the good in her. She reached out and gently took Snows hand in hers, forgetting momentarily about the cuts from punching the glass mirror. "Thank you" she whispered.
Snow watches her but she had excepted the door to close but smiled some when she saw Regina instead sitting down next to her as Snow leaned back against the wall. "Want to tell me about what's really going on?" She asked her. "If it's not about what you remember then what is it?" She asked softly and gave a smile. "You're welcome." She said before she saw the cuts on Regina's knuckles. "What happened?" She asked. Snow knew her and Regina had always had a rocky past but she could tell that Regina was trying to be good now, to make up for all that happened and she could tell there was still some goodness in it that she probably just needed someone to believe in her.
Regina let out a small sigh. "I went to gold to make a deal after I left you and Henry on the docs...to get rid of my shaky hand, every time I look at him it shakes or if I feel a certain way" she hesitated. "I didn't take it...and I was upset, and...it kept shaking" she shrugged. "It's just about everything..." She hung her head briefly before she heard Snow's question, she frowned and looked up realising the cuts on her hand once again and pulled her hand away from Snows. "n...nothing..." She stumbled back a little feeling dizzy and sick from the sudden movements and not eating or drinking anything for almost a whole day.
Snow gave a small nod as she listened to her. "We'll figure out what's going on and get it under control." She promised before she stood up and reached out to grab her seeing her stumble back. "Have you eaten yet today?"
Regina gripped onto her arm lightly as Snow reached out to her, she quickly drew her hand back. "No. But I'm not hungry" she said and walked back into her bedroom leaving the door open, she climbed back onto her bed on her side, her back facing the door. She closed her eyes slightly and let out a sigh, she just wanted everything to stop. "Please go, Snow" she begged quietly, a hand on her stomach feeling sick as she curled up into a ball on the bed, she feared she was making herself sick by not taking gold's offer and not sorting her hand and emotions out when she had the chance to.
Snow looked at her and frowned. "You should eat." She said but stood there as she watched her leave. Snow shook her head but went downstairs to the kitchen. She grabbed out a glass and filled it with ice water before going back upstairs. She walked to Regina's room and sat the glass on the nightstand by the bed. "If you won't eat, at least drink to stay hydrated." Snow said
Regina sighed a little, starting to get upset again. She heard snow come back into her room and she turned over onto her other side to face her. A few tears spilled down her cheeks as she sat up, she quietly nodded at Snows request and reached out for the glass. She took a small sip, which made her feel a bit better but then her hand started to shake, the glass shook in her hand threatening to spill the water, she managed to place it down onto the bedside table before bursting into tears again, burying her head in her hands as he body shook from the sobs, she couldn't hide it from Snow anymore and just broke down.
