Told you I've got a killer figure.

Sonia made a bunch of calls but didn't get any useful info. However, she's sure a big shot has arrived in Starfall City, someone who could even control the whole city's vibe!

If she could get on this big shot's good side, Sonia was prepared to cut them in on her latest invention—a groundbreaking antibiotic that could halt the spread of cancer cells.

If this influencer could help her patent reach a wider audience, she was ready to share the profits. It was a win-win: not only could this save humanity, but it could also pull her company, Wind Group, back from the brink.

Handing this patent over to the Davis Family, however, would risk them jacking up the prices at hospitals. Sonia's hard work could end up not as a blessing to mankind but as a tool for fat cats to line their pockets.

Once in the hands of the Davis Family, their only concern would be the money line, not the welfare of the common folk.

"Still no word, huh?!" Gabrielle asked as she shut the door, smiling wryly. "Sonia, the world is crazy! He's a looker, sure, but the woman why fall for a guy who's neck-deep in debt? And she even want to help him pay it off?!"

Inside, Sonia felt calm, even amused. "Ha, he owes a fortune to my family. If she ever plans on settling his debts, she'd have to start counting from the creation of the universe—and it's not just my family he owes!"

Gabrielle burst out laughing, "That's why you're not worried, Sonia! You've got him right where you want him."

"What are you talking about? It's strictly business—he owes us, so he stays," Sonia responded.

"But did you ever think, that IOU might not even be legally binding?!"

Silence.

Legally, there's a cap on how much debt can be acknowledged. If Gibson decided to deny the debt, the Juarez family wouldn't stand a chance in court or elsewhere. Yet, despite the shamelessness of it, Gibson had unhesitatingly acknowledged the debt, a responsibility many would shy away from.

Suddenly, the kitchen door swung open, and Gibson brought out a spread of seven or eight dishes. He had high standards for food, whether dining alone or with others—every meal had to be perfect.

"You're not going to eat all that yourself, are you?" Gabrielle eyed the feast on the table compared to their earlier instant noodles.

Gibson just shrugged, "Why not? It's how I choose to live my life—not skimping on meals like you guys."

"You...!" Gabrielle started, annoyed. But as Gibson lifted the lids off the dishes, the delicious aroma made her swallow her words.

"Maybe... I could help you with that. Let's not let it go to waste," she compromised, her eyes betraying her longing for a taste.

"Alright, you can dig in, but didn't you promise me something earlier?!" Gibson teased as he playfully brandished a small whip and a pair of black stockings.

Gabrielle suddenly remembered the bet she had cheekily avoided, surprised that Gibson still had it on his mind. "Fine! You better have plenty of tissues ready, because you're going to need them!" she declared, grabbing the stockings and whip and heading upstairs.

After she left, Sonia rolled her eyes at Gibson. "Why do you have to pick on her?"

"What if I was the one who lost the bet?" he retorted.

"I..." Sonia knew that if Gibson had been the loser, Gabrielle, with her feisty nature, would never let him live it down.

Suddenly, the lights went out with a snap.

"What the heck? Did someone cut the power?!" Sonia jumped up, panicked, ready to call the property management to switch on the backup generators.

From the second floor, a beam of light slowly emerged, similar to the kind many streamers use.

A silhouette appeared at the railing, gracefully showcasing a stunning figure against the darkness.

Long, flowing curls cascaded over her shoulders, her double-lidded eyes casting seductive glances that could drive any man wild.

Her face, with just the right touch of makeup, highlighted by shimmering eyeshadow and glossy, tantalizing red lips, was framed by a low-cut top revealing her fair, delicate skin.

The cream-colored garment accentuated her porcelain complexion and perfectly outlined her slender waist.

The whip paired with the sexy stockings transformed the usually demure Gabrielle into a dangerously enticing wildcat.

Not only Gibson was mesmerized; even Sonia was stunned by the dramatic transformation from the girl-next-door to this fierce diva.

Ten minutes later.

After her fiery dance, Gabrielle changed back into her usual clothes. "How was that?! Pretty impressive, huh?" she boasted with a smug grin.

Gibson cleared his throat and chuckled, "You really know how to put on a show, you've opened my eyes!"

"Hmph!" Gabrielle puffed out her chest and smirked, "Told you I've got a killer figure. You didn't believe me!"

"I still don't believe you, I need to check with my hands." Gibson teased.

Then she stomped her foot. "Sonia, did you hear the nonsense he's spouting?!"

"Enough, you two! I'm really not in the mood for this!" Sonia dropped her instant noodles and sighed, staring at the TV. "Can you believe someone would choose 'Reaper' as their nickname? What's with that?!"
