Sasuke's expression hardened, his gaze flickering briefly with something akin to pain before it was masked by indifference. "You don't understand. You never have." He raised a hand, and the air around him crackled with energy, a clear warning that he was ready to engage.

Naruto stepped between them, his voice steady but filled with emotion. "We're not giving up on you! You're my friend, and friends don't abandon each other!"

At that moment, the tension in the air snapped like a taut wire, and Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "Then you'll have to fight me."

In a flash, the room erupted with a surge of energy as Sasuke unleashed a wave of dark chakra. It washed over the chamber, pushing Naruto and Suki back, and sending Sai tumbling against the wall. The sudden assault took them by surprise, and they quickly regained their footing.

"Get back!" Yamato shouted, channeling his chakra to create a protective barrier around them. "We need to strategize!"

But Naruto, fueled by desperation, charged forward, ignoring the warning. "Sasuke, you're not yourself! This isn't you!"

With a flick of his wrist, Sasuke summoned a volley of shuriken imbued with dark energy, hurling them at Naruto with deadly precision. Naruto dodged to the side, his instincts kicking in as he summoned his own chakra. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Clones appeared around him, creating a swirling barrier to absorb the shuriken's impact. As they exploded upon contact, Naruto propelled himself forward, aiming to close the distance between them.

Suki gritted her teeth, feeling the oppressive weight of Sasuke's chakra pressing down on her. She had to do something—she couldn't just stand by and watch. "Yamato, let me try!" she called out, stepping forward again. "I can reach him!"

"Are you insane?!" Yamato replied, concern etched on his face. "He's not in his right mind!"

"I know! But if there's any part of Sasuke left in there, I can help him!" Suki insisted, focusing her cursed energy to amplify her voice. "Sasuke! I know you're in there! Fight it! You don't have to be alone!"

For a moment, Sasuke faltered, his expression shifting as he struggled against the dark influence. "I... don't need your help!" he spat, but the tremor in his voice suggested otherwise.

Suki pressed on, feeling a connection with him that transcended their current situation. "You're stronger than this darkness! Remember who you are, Sasuke! Remember your family, your friends! We've all sacrificed so much for you!"

The room seemed to freeze, the tension palpable as Sasuke's eyes flickered with uncertainty. For a fleeting moment, Suki could see the boy she had known, the one who had fought alongside them, caught in the throes of a battle far greater than any physical confrontation.

Sasuke grunted, struggling against the restraints. "You think this can hold me? You don't understand what I've become!"

"No, but I know who you were!" Suki replied, her voice steady and strong. "You're still that person inside. You just need to let him out!"
