Alexei raised an eyebrow, the corners of his mouth twitching into a faint, wry smile. "I think there's no need."
Alicia's enthusiasm didn't wane as she insisted. "Come on try it."
Alexei glanced at her and disappeared into the fitting room. A few moments later, he emerged, the suit fitting him perfectly. Alicia clapped her hands together with delight.
"Oh, Alexei, you look absolutely ravishing," she said, her eyes lingering on him with admiration. "I knew you had it in you."
Alexei's expression remained cool, though he couldn't suppress a hint of annoyance. "It's a suit. It fits. Can we move on?"
Alicia laughed lightly, her voice like a tinkling bell. "Such a grump! We're just getting started."
They moved to the next store, where Alicia's taste in accessories led them to a range of elegant watches and cufflinks. She picked out a silver watch with a black face and handed it to Alexei.
