Alexei looked at her hand on his hand, and he silently pulled away.

Alicia looked at him silently, but before she could say anything, his phone rang.

Alexei walked back to his bed, where his phone was. He picked it and glanced at the screen.

The name displayed on the screen was RICCARDO VITALE.

A coldness erupted in Alexei's eyes. Alicia noticed there was something wrong with his expression. She wondered who had called to cause him such a reaction.

Alicia slowly walked to his side and asked, "What happened?"

Alexei looked up from his phone and looked back at Alicia. "Your brother…"

Alicia paused and looked at Alexei. She didn't know how to respond to him. The phone continued to ring until the call automatically got disconnected.
