Vaughn saw her silence, "Talk Sweetheart."

Eliza opened her lips and closed them. She opened her lips again, "I.. I had stomachache, and I missed my periods as well.."

Vaughn listened her intently, and paused. Did he hear it right? He took a step again, and looked at her stomach. Could it be? Was she pregnant? He felt uncertain, they had been having sex constantly, so it was no wonder if she was pregnant, but she didn't look happy? Was she sad she was pregnant?

Within few seconds, his mind made up a hundred sort of scenarios. He shook his head a little to push off his thoughts, he asked, "Are you.. pregnant?"

Eliza shook her head instantly, as to indicate she was not pregnant. "No.. It's not like that."

Vaughn nodded as he processed her response, but he still asked in suspicion, "You said you missed your periods?"
