CHAPTER 5: Alex Adams

 " zephy it's been so long are you feeling alright , i heard that your cheap family came to visit you, i wish i was there i would have giving that b*tch a peace of my mind" kelly said as she started to roll up her sleeves in an attempt to look tough.

 " stop that you look ridiculous , and don't try to act tough i was the one who always protected you in high school"

 " you've got it all wrong zephy that was only because i knew that if i had taken action on those poeple they would have been so scared they would have pissed their pants so i let you stand up for me for the sake of their mental wellbeing, that's it" kelly said as zephyra rolled her eyes at her silly best friend.

 " kelly i have somethings i really need you to do for me coz as you know you're probably the only person i can trust right now"

 "it's okay you know that i'll always be here for you no matter what, so tell me what is it?" "tell me all you know about the adam family and their heir" she said s she went into thought ,before she entered a coma the adam family was the number one family in the country ,they had connections in every area of bussiness and commerce ,she had also heard alot about the heir of the family , apearently he was a very rutheless and cold blooded person but also extremly talented as he was the god of profit ,he could turn anything into money and was ridiculously handsome but she still needed to know more.

 "why are you suddenly asking about him?" asked kelly 

 " im asking about him because my family is planning something and they want me to get married to this guy "she said as he watched kelly furrow her brows

 " well i don't really know much about the adam family's heir but i know that Alex adam is a very mysterious person, rumours say that he's a devil but im not sure if that's true though, the adams are still the most influencial family in the city at present but i dont know why they want you"

 " i also don't know or maybe they don't want me and it's my father that;s giving me up instead for his own benefit but what i wonder is that if ther's really something good about that family he would have gotten his daughter married to alex adam instead" zephyra said but she remembered that she also had to take care of something so she continued "and also kelly i want you to get me discharged"

 " why ? i think you need to rest more and your body needs more recuperation"kelly said as he voiced out her concerns.

 "i've been in a coma for three years kelly i think my body has gotten more than enough rest and i have more important things to do so get me discharged"

 "okay then but still take it easy" kelly said as she left the room to go talk to the doctor about her discharge , she came in about ten minutes later and told her that she'll be discharged the next day,and zephyra nodded satisfied with the answer.

 They had a long chat to catch up on things as they had not seen each other for so long and it turned out a lot had changed since she fell unconcious, kelly now had a boyfriend and her sister had surpassed her in the modeling industry , and it also turned out that she had been spreading fake news about her going about claiming that she was the daughter of a misstress and all that.

 she couldn't help bursting into laughter when she heard that ,it turned out that she didn't even need to do a thing and her stepsister was already digging a grave for her self , a dangerous glint flashed in her eyes as she swore to destroy them kelly later left the hospital after her insisting that she needed peace and quite and she wanted to sleep,and after a while she really slept.

 "take this my daughter, i want you to remember to be strong and that you have a destiny to fufill" a shriveled looking woman said ,she was thin and pale but it couldn't hide the nobillity between her eye brows,she had eyes that shone like stars they looked like they held a million secrets ,her lips were dry and pale she looked so weak like the wind could blow her away yet there was a smile on her lips as she gazed at her 6 year old daughter.

 "i will mommy" the innocent young girl promised even though she couldn't understand all of what was said. the woman smiled as she reached for under her pillow and brought out a old marron wodden box,it had inticate designs and it was laced with gold with little diamonds embedded in it ,there was a mark on the box or something that looked more like an insignia the little girl tried to look at it clearly but it became blurry the more she tried and when her mither finelly opened the box she only heared some fade away voices before every thing started to fade away,

 "mommy!..mom! mom! where are you mom dont leave me here !" zephyra shouted as she woke up ....
