1950, India
India is growning in every industry. Indian textiles are in high demand all over the world even sarees and kurtas are starting to become a trend in foreign countries as well. Walker, has become a world known brand, known for its comfort and style.
It started after Priya, my sister's crew gained fame all over India. So they held a foreign tour starting from their performance on independence day in Delhi, going to New York, Paris, Tokyo and many other countries. We used the crew to promote our textile industry by mixing fashion of other countries even western and korean fashion with our traditional Indian clothes.
Walkers special airwalk and moonwalk shoes were the start of them gaining worldwide fame. The crew performed on many songs and as microphone was still not invented the singers sang in the backstage arranged by saregama studios which has gives much better rights to singers than available in current studios.
All our old embroidery designs and textile works were revived and foreign nations couldn't understand how these clothes instead of fading after washing grows more vibrant.
Saregama studios even started a tv channel in which anyone can send their recording with their details and they will be played on Saturday and Sunday at different times in different countries. And the most popular song will be played on week days. The popular song is decided through TRP. People can even vote through missed calls for their favourite song.
There are small 10 second ads in between every song. And 40% revenue from week days will be given to the singer. Many of the songs from the performance were the songs from this channel and singers were also those who sended their recording to these channel.
Soon, navratri came and my brother released his anime on Ramayan, as you can show more graphics in anime than with human actors. He will also release his Mahabharata anime on Krishna janmashtami. This started a new industry for sketch artist and voice artist and graphics designer.
After this I focused on upcoming Asian Games. A very important event as India didn't take part in its football competition and was mocked by saying that it didn't have enough money to buy shoes.
So, I asked each state to create their own team or contestants for every sport and stadiums were built for these teams and sports. League's of all sport will be held and 8 teams or contestants will qualify for finals. National team coach will be present in every match for their respective sports and will make the team out of them.
This was to stop the team from being a completely regional team as it was in my world. All the coaches were checked by a specially appointed team to check whether they want to win or just want a medal (who thinks bronze medal is a great achievement). The coach will have a seat among board members and could only be changed if the players think him incompetent but will be changed if they agree.
All the players equipment and gears will be outsourced to private companies who will be promoted in these matches. And most important of all board members will be changed, with the coaches of 8 qualifying teams from the league, national team coach, national team players who retired and head of management. A CEO will be selected from majority vote of these 15 members.
All the players will be secretly watched with whom they talk, whom they meet, their phones will be tapped, bank accounts of their whole family will be watched and many more precautions so that there is no chance of match fixing. A seprate body will be made which will manage this.
All of these changes were being made in sports field. Talents were being out even from the streets and put on the field and getting trained. And most important of all they are being taught how to answer the dirty game played by some countries with their performance.
Also, even after repeatedly sending messages to Portugal to remove their forces from Indian territory and hand over goa peacefully but receiving no reply a major operation took place. So operation Vijay took place in which Army, Navy and Air force launched a joint attack and ceased goa within one day. All the Portuguese officers were imprisoned, trialed and if found guilty according to Indian law were charged as such.
We also started developing all the islands as tourist spots by building beach houses and resorts, organising trips in the jungles to show the wildlife there, etc.
Other tourist places were also being developed and words were spreading about tourist locations in India inviting many tourists from foreign nations all over India. They loved the taste of Indian food and cuisine which while spicy was also delicious.
We also entered in contract with many countries to send Indian labours to work in their oil rigs and mines on a five year rotational basis. This created many jobs for Indians in countries which recently started producing oil on their own rather than through foreign companies.
This time we strongly campaigned against fire crackers and to live a clean and environment friendly life as we lived before the british invasion. We didn't let the Chinese grab the firecracker market of India which causes great pollution and is a waste of money.
Many other Indian festivals were also promoted in a safe style like chemical colours on Holi were banned and instead Indian made herbal colours were used. All of these things for festivals were made in itself instead of letting foreign companies grab these markets.
The international market is currently flooded by Indian products and soon with arrival of Christmas we will again flood it with our toys industry again.
Indian armored cars that I used in my visit to Britain is sought all over the world. Many rich businessman and ministers of various states are putting orders for the cars. Even our commercial cars for middle class are a huge hit all over the world.
