prologue

Two things so vastly different was created by the same person. A wonder for the onlookers that pick sides without asking about what kind of personality disorder it may be. They call the disintegration a consequence of free will and Adam a god, grabbing at whatever story would feed the dominant part of their brains. Dopamine hungry citizens of smoke city.

This creation being New Age Technology Artificial Intelligence. The rumor, hersey that two AIs walk among the common folk in Sebrion. The first created on less and an incomplete algorithm. Beady red eyes and an awful tick like grandfather gears in its neck. It wasn't appropriate for the public and simply couldn't blend in.

NA corp released a public statement the following year about the vivid imagination of greenies; citizens of Greenwood that had taken root in their city— taking up action to sue for defamation if the rumors continues. They further proclaimed that the only bot they have ever created would in fact be the cornerstone of a technologically advanced city. A perfect AI that is yet to be created.

But Gwen knew the truth.

It was left for the estranged engineer to start pointing fingers— she intended to tell the whole truth, the sickening candice of Sebrion that would shake the ground up until Greenwood. But it wouldn't matter if there was a war and people died, she had died too sometime ago.

That's why it's not as jarring with the piercing feel of wet concrete and stone on the soles of her feet. Nothing seems to slow her down now, she wasn't afraid to die— she wanted them to die. Her loyalty to the confidentiality of the company's works had washed down somewhere along Heiner Avenue in the pouring rain.

Her hair stuck to her forehead, feet sore, she crosses the border into Greenwood to devise a rescue mission. Between being hunted down by Sebrion law enforcement and Adam, the latter was always worse.
