Your book is upside down

I woke up feeling unrested, the remnants of my argument with Riley weighing heavily on my mind. As I lay in my former room, I couldn't help but feel the toll of a sleepless night.

"I don't feel like working today," I muttered to myself, rubbing my eyes as I sat up in bed. The familiar surroundings of my old room offered little comfort.

The door creaked open, and my sister Ciara entered with a smirk on her face. "What are you doing in your former room?" she asked, chuckling.

I sighed, knowing Ciara wouldn't leave me alone easily. "Just needed some space," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant.

Ciara leaned against the doorframe, her smirk growing wider. "Space from Riley, you mean?" she teased. "What happened? Did the mighty Seraphine get rejected?"

I shot her an annoyed look. "It's not like that, Ciara. We had a disagreement, that's all."

Ciara's eyes twinkled with mischief. "Oh, a disagreement. Sounds juicy. Do tell."
