You mean a lot to me

"No!" I screamed, rushing to her side. My heart pounded in my chest as I saw Seraphine lying on the ground, blood pooling around her from the deep gashes on her back. I dropped to my knees beside her, tears welling up in my eyes. "Please, Seraphine, don't die."

Seraphine's eyes fluttered open, and she looked at me with a pained but determined expression. A weak chuckle escaped her lips. "Don't worry, Riley. It's going to take more than this to take me down."

I blinked, taken aback by her response. Before I could say anything, Seraphine pushed herself up, her movements surprisingly fluid for someone who had just taken a direct hit from a demon wolf. She stood tall, her eyes flashing with a dangerous light.

The giant wolf snarled, readying itself for another attack. Seraphine's expression hardened. "Stay back, Riley. I've got this."
