"I'd like to go back home. Today has been a lot, and I really just want to rest," Stephanie said after they stayed doing nothing for about an hour. He nodded, so many things were going through his mind. He needed to find a way to take care of Jason.

"Okay, love, Lance will take you back home. Are you sure you'll be good on your own though?" he asked. She nodded, standing up to get ready.

"Yeah, I'm not alone; Kate is with me as well," she said, referring to her pregnant best friend. Alexander was not sure how confident he felt about that, especially since she told him her friend wasn't in the best place mentally, but he decided not to fight it. He knew the last thing she needed was to argue.

"Okay, love, would you like to come to my place later? I'll come pick you up," he asked, to which she nodded.
