I lay in Ada's bed, unable to control the smile that spread across my face as I pulled her into my arms and curled her against me.
For the first time in my life that I could remember I was blissfully happy. There was nothing else at that moment. Just me and Ada.
Ada panted, as I held her tight, but I could feel the smile that was on her lips as well. Now that I marked her, our connection was even closer, and I was getting the humm of her emotions through the bond so much stronger than before. I should have done this ages ago.
"I told you," my wolf said from inside my mind, but his tone was teasing. He was in just as good of a mood as I was.
