Wu Xian Jr.?

"Yo," I said while sitting back in my chair within Limitless, Xia Qingyue who had pretty much taken over all of my work, for the past 10 years I had just up and disappeared, was stunned seeing me for a second.

"Welcome back," She said emotionlessly. My eyebrow couldn't help but raise seeing her emotionless air about her, it looked like I wasn't the only one to undergo some changes in the past 10 years.

"Where is Bai Qing?" I asked with a smile. Bai Qing was the one I had taken over the role of limitless master down in the lower realm, and also pretty much the little sister to Qin Wentian. 

"Why?" Xia Qingyue asked with a frown.

"I'm ill-suited for the role of leader of Limitless, I will instead just become its protector or something like that," I said with a shrug, stunning Xia Qingyue who looked at me, unable to believe her ear.

"I came to realize in my journey of self-discovery, that I'm not the best and I'm filled with many flaws. It would be selfish of me to do something which isn't in my skill book." I said with a sigh, leaving Xia Qingyue's normally emotionless face unable to help but move and twist into a stunned look.

She had a hard time comprehending what she just heard. It was like realizing that cripple you know all your life was far better than you in every sport out there.

"Bai Qing was in the lower realm for thousands of years looking after the organization over there and did a good job running it. If she is up to the job, I want her to do it... although this should be something I say over a meeting with everyone." I said with a sigh, realizing it was selfish to just disappear for 10 years and return like nothing had happened.

"Yeah... I think a meeting is what is needed right now." She said softly. She was sure that everyone in Limitless would be shocked to hear what I had to say. So, she called everyone. It didn't take long for them all to arrive,

Qin Wentian, Yun Che, Wu Yun, The Little Demon Empress, Jasmine, and so on. Everyone was there, even my mother... oh, Fen Juechen was back and Helian Xun wasn't here, she was dealing with her stuff.

"Before you say anything... I no longer want to be your disciple." Qin Wentian said coldly, after finding out I knew his aunt had reincarnated and did nothing, he was angry, to say the least.

"Understandable. I was too busy holding onto the past, you have all right to be angry with me." I said causing Qin Wentian to pause, not sure he had heard me right. What would the old me have said?

Well, it would have gone something like this.

"Haha! You no longer want to be my disciple? Instead of being grateful I even bothered to teach you anything, you're spitting such nonsense? Do you think a lower life form like you is worthy? You were never worthy of being my disciple... I took you in for your aunt's sake. You are nothing but an ant with a slightly better cultivation art than others, not knowing what's good for you." Well, that would be what I would have said in the past, or something along those lines, before just kicking Qin Wentian out of Limitless, scared that his stupidity would affect me.

"I will be stepping down as the leader of Limitless and will be giving it to Bai Qing. This role and position is something I don't suit when I have so much room to grow." I said softly, leaving the room quiet as everyone looked at me as if seeing a ghost.

"... Ha," Wu Yun said softly while sizing me up. I looked at her in confusion, but before I could speak, she spoke.

"How did you cut the connection between me and you?" She asked softly, once our bond was complete, it wouldn't be broken unless she or I died. So, the fact that even she couldn't find me left her puzzle... she didn't care much about the changes I went through... well, she did care. But mainly I went through it without her.

"I used Infinity, I was Infinitely far from being sensed," I said calmly, stunning her slightly. She nodded lightly, not realizing that Infinity would be used to boost my stealth capability like this.

"Wait, why me?" Bai Qing asked, not wanting to run Limitless after spending thousands of years doing this in the lower realm.

"because... well, you are better than me at running Limitless," I said causing her to widen her eyes slightly at my words. She couldn't help but blush slightly, what was a better compliment than hearing me say she was better than me at something?

"Fine, if I'm the best person for the role, do I have other choices?" She asked with a sigh,

"What would you do?" Xia Qingyue asked to which I shrugged.

"I have a few things to do, once thats over, I will go where I belong until it is time for me to leave," I said making everyone confused, mainly Xia Qingyue who grew annoyed realizing something.

"Well, I should get going," I said with a sigh, to which Wu Yun flew, sitting on my shoulder. I looked at her in confusion, I had expected her to somewhat be put off hearing what I did with Qin Kexin.

"We are life partners, we stay together till death do us part." She said while kissing my cheek, causing me to nod lightly. I was about to take a step, before pausing and looking towards my mother.

"As a son, I haven't been the best son. I will try and make it up to you." I said causing her slightly down look to cheer up. She wasn't dumb and knew that Xia Qingyue was the main reason I made that bond with her. Even after accepting my mother, I didn't care much, it's why she had become super close with XIa Qingyue as she saw Xia Qingyue was changing me for the better. I left, leaving them wondering where I went.

Xia Qingyue frowned, with the sudden new changes to me, it was hard for her to read me... that was until she realized something, causing her to realize I went to go see Qin Kexin. She frowned, before freezing space, allowing her to turn off bits of space, allowing her to take on a step, and instantly appear anywhere she wants...

"... Xia Qingyue? what are you doing here?" Qin Kexin asked in confusion seeing Xia Qingyue appear out of nowhere.

"I thought Wu Xian was coming here... seems like I was wrong." Xia Qingyue said not expecting that I had changed so much she could no longer read me. I was so easy to read in the past, I was too arrogant to bother hiding what I was thinking.

"He is back?" Qin Kexin asked with a sneer, not even wanting to hear my name. Xia Qingyue sighed, not meaning to say my name in front of her.

"Yeah..." She said softly, not knowing what to say right now, and now confused as to where I could be. So, she went to find Helian Xun.

Helian Xun was currently sitting back on a battlefield, the air of slaughter filling the air between the gods, devils, and cultivators being absorbed by her to cultivate. She didn't even need to do anything, just hanging around in such chaos was enough for her...

But after she left, Qin Kexin's eyes widened as she sensed something. The Qin clan of the lower realm had been brought back to life. She was shocked for a good amount of time, before quickly going to Qin Wentian, and asking him to quickly take her down there.

It didn't take long, and she soon flew over to where the Qin clan once stood, to find the clan was back to how it used to be, with everyone back to life, from those she loved to those she hated.

"How is this possible?" She asked, only gods who had comprehended a said dao could bring back the dead. Normally the Dao of life and death, some immortals can also control life and death, but they need to first have a high understanding of such Daos.

"Wu Xian had brought them back to life... he used Limitless to pull them back to life, and used his blood to recreate them. He tried hiding it from me, but in the past 10 years, the heavens had grown strong enough that even he couldn't hide his actions when doing something this huge." Xiao Lingxi said lightly while appearing next to Qin Kexin.

"... That doesn't sound like Wu Xian at all." Qin Kexin said softly, she didn't think I would do a good thing without letting anyone know. But me trying to hide my actions? That was crazy.

10 years have passed, more than enough years for the heavens to start adapting. False Immortal? It was now its own infinity, meaning that Immortal Sovereign was the 8th infinity. Soon, Immortal Sovereign would be the 12th infinity and that number would just keep increasing. 

"... where is he?" Qin Kexin asked softly while looking at how her clan now had a bright and nearly endless future ahead of them.

"I don't know. I just came to tell you..." Xiao Lingxi said softly, before leaving. Qin Kexin was left there in the air for some time, before she floated down, landing before her little brother...

"I don't know..." Wu Yun said while looking at the village mansion that I was moving into... that's right, I was going to become the village head. The city was known as Grand Star Village.

"You don't have to join me, I just realized I shouldn't force myself into places where I don't belong. I'm too big for this world... I will stay here until it's time for me to leave." I said softly, making her look at me with a stunned look. She was about to speak but suddenly looked up into the sky, where the power of slaughter filled the air, tracking me down.

Seeing this, I sighed while using Infinity on time, making one instant last forever. This is how I stopped time, and it caused Wu Yun's eyes to widen at how creative I was getting with my techniques.

"Wu Xian! I Demand a rematch!" Helian Xun said while appearing in the sky, leaving the sky to be bathed in blood, and the very air to turn red, like the mist of blood. She had a grin, she had grown powerful in the past 10 years, and she was ready for a rematch.

"Why?" I asked, causing Helian Xun's excitement to die down as she looked at me in confusion, not knowing what I meant by my words.

"What?" She asked to which I sighed.

"Why is the point of the rematch? So, what if you win or I lose... what is the point of it?" I asked lightly, causing Helian Xun and Wu Yun's eyes to widen in shock. Helian Xun looked at me for a good amount of time before realizing what was happening.

"what the fuck happened to you? Where is the selfish bastard who only cares for himself?" Helian Xun asked, not liking the new me.

"What?" I asked in confusion, not understanding why she would want someone selfish over someone who thinks ahead and cares for others.

"Fucking fight me." She said angrily, to which I sighed and just had her come at me. So, she did just that. With a flash, the power to kill it all swallowed her, before disappearing to reveal her transformed into a dragon. It looks like she had cultivated her dragon cells, she was now truly a dragon of slaughter.

With a roar, all things were killed. For one, her attack reached me before she even got ready to launch an attack... in other words, her attack did one of two things.

1, this attack was so fast, it moved backward in time. Or 2, the logic of her having to attack for an attack to hit me was killed by her. Either way, the attack appeared before me and just paused,

Helian Xun's eyes widened before she shot forward, she opened her mouth, unleashing a dragon breath towards me. The dragon breath was heaven-shaking, if it was not controlled, then surely all of the 99 heavens would have been killed by this attack alone... but the dragon breath just paused, unable to reach me.

Helian Xun looked at me in shock, I still had my blindfold on, she couldn't understand how the gap between them had increased by so much... no, the gap didn't increase by so much,

'He had accepted the fact he is alone... this increases the Limitless capability?' She thought in shock. She looked at my uninterested look, not knowing what to say.

"You should forget about me..." I said lightly, before walking into the village, Helian Xun just standing there, having a hard time wrapping her head around what just happened. but when she did, she shot towards me in rage.

"What's with this act of being all alone? Just why did you cultivate if you're going to do this?" Helian Xun said she didn't know what to feel right now. For so long, I was the mountain she aimed to climb, yet when she was so close, I just shut her out.

"The reason I aimed to become the strongest was so that I could carry the weight of being the strongest... I am slowly learning the responsibility that would come with it." I said lightly, stunning Helian Xun and Wu Yun as they never knew this... hell, even I realized this was my goal during my 10 years. I had such a noble goal, that I would take the burden of standing at the peak of that mountain, forever alone, and forever far from the reach of everyone else.

"Fuck That! I DEMEND A BATTLE!" Helian Xun said angrily, her air of slaughter suddenly growing stronger. Her body grew larger, and her form turned demonic. She glared at me, 

"Fine... if I win?" I asked to which Helian Xun snorted lightly.

"Although that will not happen again... if you by chance win, I will join you in your noble goal and take up the burden of holding up the title of the strongest woman." She said mockingly, to which I sighed.

"You do understand I'm right here right?" Wu Yun asked with a blank look, she had never been so disrespected. First, she was ignored, but she was a kind and humble person. So, she ignored it... now what was this nonsense? Was Helian Xun saying she wasn't a woman? Such a level of disrespect... naw, she couldn't take this.

"If I lose?" I asked stopping Wu Yun, if she and Helian Xun truly fought, the 99 heavens might just be destroyed. Helian Xun would lose control of her power of slaughter seeing Wu Yun might be stronger than her, which should increase her power to newfound heights. Wu Yun would be forced to be creative when she starts losing, and would likely create something like Limitless Slaughter, or something of the kind as she is about to lose and come out with the win... I knew all of this because I could see more than one possible future.

"Snort." Wu Yun flew backward, giving me and Helian Xun space to fight. Helian Xun sized me up. I was currently at level 12 Core Formation and even without cultivation I was equal to a Supreme at the moment. With Cultivation, I should be equal to the strongest of the strongest of Supreme Gods.

Since I couldn't use my law, this meant Helian Xun did have a chance to win... well, that was what Helian Xun thought, call me cocky, but I didn't think I could ever lose.

So, we sized each other up, before Helian Xun shot forward, her dragon claw aiming to take off my head. But it paused before me, unable to reach me. Helian Xun seeing this gritted her teeth, she let out a heaven-shaking roar as she put everything into her dragon claw, the air of slaughter exploded off the dragon claw, while she madly reached out to touch me.

I was forced to step backward, although unable to reach me due to how.. well, how flawless Infinity was right now, she was able to move it, forcing me to step backward. Helian Xun seeing this didn't let up, the air of slaughter exploded from her being, swallowing her form, and all the chains holding her. The chains like logic, common sense, and so on were all slaughtered.

I was sent taking more and more steps backward, I frowned before Infinity exploded outwards, clashing with Helian Xun. Helian Xun hatefully glared at me, the fact I still had my blindfold on was truly pissing her off.

"JUST DIE!" Her voice boomed, warping reality around me, weakening Infinity to allow Helian Xun's dragon claw to cause cracks to cover Infinity. Behind my blindfold, my eyes widened seeing this. Even Wu Yun was shocked, Wu Yun knew how powerful she had made the new Limitless, and that was even more so with the huge touches I made to it in the past 10 years... and it was being broken through? Helian Xun was powerful... but was this not too much.

Boom

Infinity shattered, and Helian Xun's dragon claw shot forward. But it paused before my face, a hair breath away, as Blue appeared behind Helian Xun, pulling her back. Helian Xun was annoyed, she had killed all chains on her, meaning techniques that fell under reason shouldn't affect her... but who said my techniques fell under reason when it too would be sucked away.

"You surprise me, I didn't expect you to get past Infinity. I used it with my knowledge of 0D, and the ideas of division, times 0, and so on. Even if one was many infinities above me, they shouldn't have been able to reach me." I said lightly while looking at Helian Xun who was slowly breaking free from Blue pull.

"But I rather be the strongest than the weakest... I rather be the one to stand on top of others than be the one to have others stand on top of me." I said while the world turned red as before my finger, red formed.

"You lose..." I said while pointing forward, but this time Red didn't fly towards her, it instead shot out like a beam. Helian Xun felt Red slam so hard into her being, she was sent shooting backwards through time. It was only a few seconds, but it was enough to shock her. Helian Xun floated there, a huge hole in her dragon's body, she lay there with this blank look... was the gap between them truly Limitless?

Within Helian Xun's mind, the blood-red emotion known as Slaughter was looking at this all with a stunned look. It looked towards the other emotions that wanted to take over, sadness being the main one, but the emotion Slaughter refused.

"We can still win this!" Slaughter roared unable to accept this defeat, he looked towards Anger. If Slaughter and Anger worked together... no, if Slaughter worked together with all of the emotions and have them fueled its power, then what could it not do?

"Joy, Disgust, Fear, Anger, and Sadness... we must all come together!" He called out, to which the emotions looked at each other for a moment, before they all stepped forward, fueling Helian Xun's intent for slaughter.

Boom

The air of slaughter exploded outwards like never before, I was forced to quickly take off my blindfold and used red and blue to ensure this intent for slaughter didn't erase the 99 heavens, I instead led it out of the 99 heavens, where it fell into nothingness and disappeared like it never existed.

"Fuck." I said while looking away from Nothingness and turning around to find a Dragon clawing straight through my body. All resistance, and means to block were slaughtered before it.... but although I was badly injured, and that attack should have one-shotted me, I stood there with negative HP with a smile slowly forming on my face.

"Using all your emotions to fuel your goal... keep this up and I might have to marry you. I don't want to live with regrets, so I will have to do this you know." I said with a smile. Helian Xun enraged by my words clawed forward toward me but I moved and clashed with her while ignoring the eyes that were eyeing Helian Xun from Nothingness...
