Ling mei glance at the corner where qiao wan was standing, their eyes met and Ling Mei's lips curled up,

"I'll get my revenge" meimei mouthed and qiao wan shuddered at her muderoud gaze

Wheather it was her past life or the current one, Ling Mei was sure of one thing, she'd get her revenge on wanwan no matter what.

She walked forward and started to socialize with the help of Matt.

"Good evening Mrs Johnson, I wish you long life and prosperity" Ling Mei said as she handed over her gift

"You're welcome" meimei said cutly before proceeding to take a seat

Mira on the other hand had mixed with the crowd in the hope of find in someone to get fresh with

"Don't tell me you're only drinking water?" Mira's mischievous voice sounded behind me

When Ling mei entered previously he wasn't in, so he obviously wasn't aware what commotion her appearance caused

"Yes I feel like, she's the one" wanwan said not pretending not to be sure

"She came back?" Yeqian asked looking at Ling Mei's direction in lust and longing

Qiao wan who was standing beside him obviously saw it and gritted her teeth in anger

It took her great length to seduce Jiang yeqian then convince him about meimei by saying bad about her and successfully chasing her away then

Now she's back there's no way she'd allow her get his attention again

"Who's back?" Wen Lin's voice was heard and they both turned back

Wen Lin was together with her husband Mr Ling, Mei's father

"Mom" she called in surprise

"When did you arrive?"

Mr Ling who was looking round the party caught the glimpse of ling mei who deliberately chose to seat at the place very obvious for people to see her

Qiao wan on the other hand hearing wen Lin's reply she was delighted

'At least no one saw her enter'

"Isn't that meimei?" Mr Ling who had been silence since arrival said pointing at the direction

"Meimei?" Wen Lin turned to look and was stunned no matter had happened then ling mei was her child so she felt sour looking at her from a distance

"She's back?" Wen Lin said with a complicated look

No matter how it was then they had indeed done bad, just to force her out they chose to adopt her best friend in her absence and even made her heir to their corporation

"Let's go meet her?" Mr Ling said

"Good, let's go" he ordered and Lucas who was tailing behind didn't know weather to laugh or cry at president Gu's childish behavior

Because of Ling mei, he had arrived at the event earlier than usual

He watched ling mei arrived yet he didn't get down

He clenched his hands as he watched her interact with Matt yet he still didnt get down

Immediately Gu mohan entered the banquet hall he caused a commotion

The once noisy party was now quiet as everyone was trying to impress him

Gu mohan went to take a sit after greeting

But Hus initiave made people to start paying attention to her

The Ling family and wanwab approached her

"Ling mei!" Mr ling called out loud and everyone turned to look at them

"Mr ling long time no see" Ling Mei smiled

"Is that how you greet your father?" Mr Ling was angry

As soon as he spoke people began to whisper softly about what happen years ago

This wasn't surprising, they were long used to the scandals of the wealthy families

"Father? Ling Mei? The one he disowned years ago" someone asked and people nodded

"So you are my father? Why didn't I remember?, you obviously disowned me five years ago everyone is witness am I right?" Meimei chuckled

"That was because I wanted to discipline you" Mr Ling yelled in anger

"If that was what is called discipline then we shouldn't be having this conversation okay? You and I are just strangers" Meimei said coldly

"Meimei! Dad was angry then don't take it to heart" wan wan said and meimei turned to look at her

"Don't act like we're close besides you just called him dad, he's your father not mine" Meimei said looking at the family mockingly

Yeqain on the other hand was rilled up by her domineering action and faint feelings were shown on his face

Why didn't he notice she was this beautiful then

"Tsk tsk.....who is she pretending for?" Mira suddenly said people tacticly agreed with her

It was obvious Qiao wan was acting but the Ling couple didn't notice

"This is a joyous occasion don't disrupt it with conflicts" Mr Johnson said coming in to mediate as he winked at Ling mei

After that they disperse and the banquet continued as usual

Qiao wan on the other hand went to the bathroom and made a call

"Do you still have the video? Good I need it now" she said hanging up

She was going to release the video of that night between ling mei and a stranger five years ago and humiliate her

"What?" Ling mei asked the overly active Mira

"She's already making her move" Mira said

"Told you? When people are angry they get impulsive and make mistakes" she smiled looking at wanwan walking out of the toilet direction with a confident smile

It was obvious she went to plan something

"What's she up too?" Ling mei asked the person following wanwan's move

"She wants to expose the video from five years ago" the lady replied

"Planning to humiliate me? Ha! Let's see if I give her that chance, expose the evidence of her and yeqian cheating instead"

"What happened?" Mohan asked

"Qiao wan is trying to scheme against miss Meimei" Lucas said

"What about meimei?" He asked with a lazy smile

"She is prepared with countermeasures" Lucas said

"Good make sure nothing goes wrong"

The host of the party was showing the slideshow of Mrs Johnson from her young days when the screen suddenly changed and screams and whispers rang out

Qiao wan smiled feeling confident
