The vehicle started up again.

With weapon in hand, Gu Xiaoxi opened the sunroof and, at her command, she and the other team members opened fire on the positions she had designated.

Clearly, the enemy had not expected them to counterattack so swiftly. In fact, they had been killed before they even had a chance to react.
