Steve shouted, "Someone bring two horses! My lord and I are leaving for some important work..."
After a minute or so, Mark and Steve got on the horses to leave for the forest. Steve smiled in excitement. Mark chuckled. "Why are you so happy, Steve?" Steve chuckled too. "You are going to get your memories back, my lord!"
Mark asked, "And what's so good about it?" Steve smiled. "When that happens, you'll rekindle with Princess Anna... and you'd become happy again." Mark interjected, "You dummy! I am happy right now too. I'd rather know half about myself than being heartbroken." Steve looked at Mark, confused. "Did Miss Sophie say something? Why are you so savage about Princess Anna? Her beauty is so mesmerizing that even a blind person will fall in love with her... She's beautiful by heart too, that's what you said, my lord."
Mark chuckled awkwardly. "I'll tell you what happened when we get back from the forest. Should we depart now?" Steve jumped from excitement. "Yes, my lord!" Mark chuckled, looking at Steve.
While riding their horses, Steve asked, "What happened, my Lord? Am I too handsome today?" Steve and Mark chuckled together. After 10 minutes of riding, they reached the same place where Steve had seen Mark.
Mark got down from the horse, and as soon as he did, he suddenly had a vivid dream of someone holding a sword dripping blood. Mark looked up and saw Princess Anna. He fell to the ground, holding his head due to excruciating pain and screamed loudly, "Arghhh!" Steve rushed to Mark. "My Lord!!! Are you okay? I am sorry I forced you here. Let's go back; you need help."
Mark screamed harder due to extreme pain and fainted. Steve hurriedly took Mark back to the palace and returned him to his chamber. Meanwhile, Mark had a strange dream of what happened that day.
Three days ago:
Steve call Princess Anna. "I want to go on a walk with her." said Mark Steve chuckled. "Sure, my lord!" Anna arrived. "My lord, you called for me?" Mark replied, "Yes, my dear. Want to go on a walk with me if you are free?" Anna looked at Mark doubtfully. "Mark, what happened? You don't look too good," said Anna. Mark forced a smile. "I'll tell you that on our walk..." Mark called out for Steve. "Steve!" Steve came running. "Yes, my lord?" Mark smiled and said, "I am going on a walk with Princess Anna. Please don't follow us; there is something personal we want to talk about." Anna blushed and held Mark's hand. Steve laughed and replied, "Sure, my lord. Take your time."
Mark and Anna went for a walk while holding hands. Anna smiled. "So, what did you want to tell me, dear?" Mark took Anna's hand and kissed it. "Anna, would you love me no matter what?" Anna chuckled. "Of course, dear. I would love you no matter what!" Mark hugged Anna. Anna closed her eyes. Suddenly, they heard the noise of horses running from the south. On the horse were Sophie and Jake, with a few of Ming's soldiers.
Jake smirked and looked at Anna. "Sister-in-law, your love for my brother is too pure. You want to marry him even though he is no longer the future king." Mark took out his sword and shouted, "Jake, you better mind your own business and not meddle in my affairs since I never told you how desperately your lover wants to be my mistress." Jake looked at Sophie furiously. Suddenly, Anna slapped Mark. "Anna, why did you—aren't you in love with me?" Anna laughed loudly. "Love my foot... just because you are good-looking and well-built doesn't mean every other woman is in love with you!"
Mark fell to the ground, shocked. Anna laughed loudly again. "I never loved you, MY DEAR MARK." Mark took up his sword but was too drained in emotions to do anything. Suddenly, Anna snatched his sword and made a huge cut from his left chest to his appendix. Mark fell to the ground; the pain of betrayal had overpowered the pain of that deep cut. Jake bowed to Anna. "Princess Anna, what should I do with his body?" Anna laughed again like a psychopath and replied, "Throw him somewhere in the forest."
Three of them, Anna, Jake, and Sophie, looked at Mark as if he were a disgusting, pitiful creature. Suddenly, Mark felt difficulty breathing and woke up. Steve got shocked but loudly screamed, "Call the royal doctor! My lord is awake!" Mark kept on breathing loudly and couldn't calm down. In a minute, the doctor knocked and entered the room. Seeing Mark's situation, the doctor hurried over to him. "Steve, get some water," said the doctor. Steve left to get the water and got back. In a minute, Mark kept on breathing hardly, as if something was choking him up. Suddenly, tears rolled down his eyes. The doctor gave water to Mark, and Mark drank the water in like 3 seconds. The doctor looked at Mark confused and asked, "My Lord, can you tell me who am I?" Mark replied, "The royal doctor, also known as Mr. Sun. Some people call you Sulky, including me."
Steve fell down to the ground. "Finally, the lord has regained his memories. I was scared to death!" Mark replied, "No, I didn't. I can see 'Mr. Sun' written on your bag, and I heard the maids talking about how they call you 'Sulky.'" Steve got disappointed again. Mr. Sun replied, "Don't worry, Steve. My lord has partially regained his wittiness; he'll get back his memory too." Steve bowed and replied, "Thank you, doctor!" Mr. Sun quietly left the room. Steve looked at Mark crying. "My Lord, what did you see in your dreams that you were so scared?" Mark chuckled and replied, "Steve, open my clothes." Steve looked at Mark, confused. "Huh, my lord? What are you saying?"
"Open it. I want to check if I got to know something from what happened or was it just a weird dream," said Mark. Steve obliged. Mark said, "Wait, just open the upper piece." Steve bowed and started opening the top piece of Mark's huge clothing. "My lord, what did you see though?" asked Steve. Mark replied, "I'll tell you. Go bring the mirror." Steve bowed and brought the mirror. Mark opened up the front piece and saw a huge unhealed cut from his left chest to his appendix. Steve got startled and shouted, "Someone call the royal doctor again!"
