Chapter 31

 KIDNAP

Marie and Annabelle were enjoying a beautiful day, taking a stroll through the neighbourhood. The sun was shining, and a gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the trees. Marie was pushing Annabelle's stroller, watching her little girl giggle and play with her toys. They were walking down a quiet street, lined with trees and houses when Marie noticed a car following them.

At first, she thought nothing of it, assuming it was just a coincidence. But as the car continued to follow them, Marie began to feel a sense of unease. She quickened her pace, but the car kept pace with them, never getting too close. Marie's heart began to race as she realized that something was wrong.

She tried to stay calm, not wanting to alarm Annabelle, but her mind was racing with worst-case scenarios. She thought about crossing the street, but the car was too close, and she didn't want to risk being hit. She was trapped, with no way to escape.
