After much contemplation, Romeo finally made up his mind to return to the bar and try to persuade Jack to reconsider his decision. As he pushed open the door and stepped inside, the familiar sounds of laughter and clinking glasses enveloped him. However, his attention was quickly diverted to a commotion at the counter.
One of the customers, a man with a funny face, was hurling abusive words at the bartender, a petite young woman with a look of distress on her face.
Romeo's voice was firm but calm as he intervened, "Hey, you don't have to talk down on her like that. You don't have any right to do that."
The customer, taken aback by Romeo's sudden interruption, looked at him. "Are you telling me what I can say and can't say?"
